Chapter 1

Elias had an interview scheduled at three o’clock the following afternoon.He set up the backdrop in the morning. The next morning, Elias tossed an envelope onto the dining table.“The publisher wants me to send them twenty pictures for a special issue. Curate a list from the hard drive and send it to them.”“You want me to do it?”“Haven’t you studied a little photography back then? You should at least know something about composition and lighting. The awards ceremony was three days away.The doorbell rang in the afternoon. It was an express parcel delivered from overseas.The parcel was not sealed. Chapter 4

On the night of the awards ceremony.I did not head to the family section but rather, had taken a staff pass and perched in the shadows at the back of the auditorium.The spotlight was cast on the center of the stage.The signature picture, “Light”, was projected on the giant screen.
