Dariel squinted his eyes at the sudden bright environment he found himself. Everywhere seemed blurry at first while trying to open his eyes. His head ached so badly, it felt like there was some hard welding work going on there. He saw himself on a big bed, three times the size of his own at home. The bedsheets were immaculate white and the room smelled of fresh rose flowers. “This surely smells like heaven” he thought. He tried so hard to remember how he got here and his head seemed to ache much more whenever he tried thinking. Just then, he heard the door open and the person was headed in his direction. The footsteps were not heavy, like that of a woman or maybe he was overthinking.“Good morning to you, how are you doing, I hope you're okay”, the voice said almost apologetically. Dariel knew he had heard that voice before and he saw the face. It was the lady from the elevator, Geena, yes, her name was Geena.“I am sorry Dariel, I know you have a lot of questions, and I will answ

“I'm so very happy for you, my love” Geena said. Dariel couldn't believe his ears and his eyes. My love? Did she just call him my love? How can this even be? He was stuck, he couldn't go forward or backward. He had no idea where to go from here.He just received the most shocking news of his life and now he came to see and hear this from Geena. What other shock did the day have in store for him?He was tired already and it wasn't even up to mid day. He slowly retraced and walked back to the store. He just needed to hide here, at least he could talk to himself. He certainly needed to be alone since the only person available for him to talk to was loved in with another man.Oh how foolish he was to think that Geena, a billionaire in the highest part of life, will fall for a poor janitor like him!! Somehow he was actually grateful everything happened when he hadn't fallen too deep.Well, Dariel knew he had fallen so deep already. No minute passed without him thinking of Geena, her smile

Geena woke up to dozens of messages on her phone. She swiped up and saw Sophia's messages. She didn't write anything, she only sent pictures.Sophia rarely did that, Geena was a little surprised. She opened her the chat and held her phone in silence for minutes.Dariel? Sophia? Being this intimate? And he allowed her take the pictures?Geena's chest tightened, she couldn't cry but the tears seemed to gush out of her eyes. Dariel said he loved her, how could he do this to her?Questions ran through her mind, she still couldn't believe what was right in front of her. She looked at the pictures again, they looked like they had a good time with each other. He was resting peacefully. She felt so hurt. Last time she felt this hurt was when her father died. She blamed herself for all this, after her ordeal with men, how could she be so stupid? Stupid to fall for another man? She came to one conclusion: All men were certainly the same.************************************Dariel couldn't un

Besides, Geena was all he ever wanted, he had no business with her billions. At some point though, he couldn't blame her. Riches come with a lot of insecurities. He loved her and he wanted to see her but he just felt too hurt to reach out to her. Plus he'd be going to Italy soon to have a look at his late father's vast empire. How was he going to live the billionaire lifestyle without Geena by his side?******************************Geena hadn't eaten any good food in days. The sight of not having Dariel to herself made her lose appetite. She engaged more in exercises and had smoothies to keep her body going. She hadn't been to the office. She did all her work from home. Besides, she didn't want to see Sophia. She kept on looking towards the gate, if he'd pay her a surprise visit or at least re
