There’s no reason to be feeling like this. But god seeing Andre kissing that guy like that just makes him want to crawl into a hole and never come up for air. He can practically feel the way Andre’s hands felt on his waist the other day.Like a permanent brand was left behind.stupid.dumb.idiot.why.He splashes a little water on his face before patting it dry with a towel. Dylan is feeling so many things sad that Daniel seems off, anxious to talk this out terrified to come to terms with the fact that Daniel deserves someone who feels the rush and excitement that Andre brings, with him ,unbelievably jealous at watching Andre danceDylan’s favorite song comes on and despite the unbearable green monster clawing at his chest, Daniel extends a hand and drags him out to dance anyway they’ve never danced together before. He’s not sure if he’s ever danced with anyone before, actually, but when Daniel holds him close and whispers the song against his ear, he melts, holds him and wishes for something to switch over night. Something to give him that overwhelming desire to be with Daniel instead. And then he feels lips against his ear and Daniel’s breath trembles, “Okay…I, I can’t wait–so, I'm going to talk. He’s spending so much time in the library and working at the cafe, he doesn’t fully realize that two weeks have passed with them only seeing each a couple of times when taking turns showering. All of Andre’s classes are in the late afternoons. All of Dylan’s classes are in the morning. When Andre gets out from class he has to go straight over to the winter training camp their university hosts for high school aged players. Truthfully, it’s driving him insane. Although, maybe it’s a good thing after-all because he and Daniel talked briefly a couple weeks ago but not in a way that left Andre feeling satisfied. Not in a way that makes him feel like it’s okay to move forward.Tonight, Andre and Daniel are supposed to have dinner at the local pub and map out some new drills for the training c

He has literally not a single ounce of brain power left. He just needs to nap. He normally would go to the library during the three hours before his next class but he hurries home instead, his feet feel heavier and heavier the closer he gets. He barely slept at all the night before, so he falls face first into the pillow. He didn't even hear the shower running that signifies Andre hasn’t left for his own classes yet. Andre’s surprise when he exits the shower to Dylan snoring softly, shoes on his feet that dangle off the side of the bed. He’s already pushing being late. But he can’t let Dylan sleep like that, so he kneels beside him quietly unlacing Dylan’s tennis shoes and sliding them off of his feet very carefully does he adjust his legs until he is fully on the mattress. These last couple months before summer will be so important for his strength building leading up to next season…it was so easy to get lost in working out with the team before his brain focused on one track ... .the track that leads to the NHL. But now? Now he’s in trouble because his train in his mind wants to take a detour so bad and it can’t.No matter how desperate he is to hurry home. Knowing that Dylan’s classes were canceled unexpectedly today and they could finally… finally have an entire evening together.
