All Chapters of Rejecting My Alpha Mate: Chapter 41 - Chapter 50

MAXWELL’S POVThere were only two weeks left before classes at Lunaris began, and I didn’t know why, but I couldn’t wait to see Selina again. I was in Shadowfang Pack right now, and no one knew I was here.I just wanted to know how Selina was doing. I wanted to make sure that no one was hurting her while I was away.Didn’t she ever leave the house? I had been sitting up in this tree for hours, staring at the window of her room, but I still hadn’t seen her. I leaned against one of the large branches and used my arms as a pillow.Once her wolf finally emerged, that was when I would decide whether I needed to mark her.‘Why do you even have to think about it? Are you an idiot?’ Apollo snarled. He couldn’t wait for us to claim Selina. He always got angry whenever I made a decision that went against what he wanted.“Do you think she’s worthy of becoming our mate and Luna?”‘Why wouldn’t she be? She’s good at fighting. She’s overqualified to be our Luna.’“So she can’t be our Luna because s

SELINA’S POVThe two of us remained quiet inside the car. There were also several vehicles behind us carrying the students who would be studying at Lunaris. I just stared out the window.I couldn’t help feeling sad because the farther our car traveled, the farther away I was from my parents. Maybe if they had treated me badly like everyone else, I would have been happy to leave the Shadowfang Pack, but that wasn’t what happened, and I was grateful for that. Many people may have pushed me away, but they were the ones who became my support. They were the reason why I still wanted to live and make up for all the sacrifices they had made for me.“Selina,” Maxwell called, interrupting my thoughts. I looked at him. “Did your parents ever tell you anything about your real parents? Don’t you want to know why you still don’t have a wolf until now? I know you’re not an ordinary wolf, Selina. You’re strong, and you wouldn’t have been accepted into Lunaris if you weren’t worthy. Haven’t you ever

SELINA’S POVAfter nearly ten hours of traveling, we finally arrived at Lunaris Royal Academy. I never expected the trip to take the entire day. My butt was sore, and we hadn’t even stopped to eat properly. They didn’t want us traveling too late because we might suddenly be attacked by rogues. We were only first-year college students, so they probably thought we weren’t skilled enough in combat yet. The only ones allowed to travel at night were the senior students who had already been well-trained in fighting. All the students from different packs were already here. We stared in awe at the enormous school in front of us. I never imagined it would be this big. We could only see the front of the school, but we hadn’t even seen their gym, training grounds, arena, and everything else yet. They said we would be given a tour of the entire school on the first day of classes.“Finally, my dream school.” I looked at Ellaine. The excitement was obvious in her eyes, as if they were practically s

SELINA’S POVIt was already the first day of school, and Lyca was beyond excited. She kept smiling, trying to hide what she was truly feeling. I didn’t know how she could still manage to smile despite everything she was going through. We left our dorm together and started walking toward the school. It was only a five-minute walk from our dorm to Lunaris.“Selina,” Lyca called, and I looked at her while she stared at her phone. She was even pouting as if she were disappointed.“What happened to you?” I asked. From the look on her face, it seemed like she was about to cry.“How could I not be sad? Haven’t you checked what room and section you’re in yet? We’re in different rooms and sections,” she said, so I took out my phone, which I barely used anyway. I checked the email I had received. We really were in different rooms and sections. I looked at her and tapped her shoulder.“It’s okay. We only have two subjects where we won’t be together. We’ll still be in the same room for our other

MAXWELL’S POVI felt humiliated by what Selina did. The students may not have heard what she said, but my friends did. I glared at Jaydon, who was clearly trying to hold back his laughter.I could only take a deep breath and keep my composure. My cheeks were burning because she made it look like I was the one chasing after her.‘Are you really not? You are trying to get her attention.’ Apollo teased.I got my food and my friends quietly followed behind me. They didn’t say anything, but I knew they were already laughing at me in their heads. What the hell was wrong with that woman?I only wanted to help her. Did she really not want me to get close to her, or couldn’t she at least use me so the students here, especially Vanessa’s group, would stop bothering her?“You okay?” Damien asked.“Yeah,” I replied, pretending Selina’s words earlier didn’t affect me.“Really? Your face is as red as a tomato.” I glared at him, but he kept a serious expression. I couldn’t tell whether he was making
