POV: SAINT Since Blake woke up yesterday, Tom has been wearing the biggest grin. The pack showed their joy at his recovery, and I couldn't be happier. Things are finally starting to look better for him, and I really hope nothing changes that. Even though lying to Blake about his mom still weighs on me, I believe it's for the best. The doctor mentioned he has dissociative amnesia, which means his memories might not fully come back. Regardless of what happens, I'm determined to support him. Suddenly, I felt two strong hands wrap around my waist, followed by gentle kisses on my neck that made my worries fade away and brought a soft chuckle from me. "The kids are here, Jackson," I murmured, even though I was already feeling flustered. "They're in their room playing, and I doubt Tom will let Blake out of his sight. Lily will tire herself out with her dolls; they'll play until they're worn out," he replied between kisses on my neck. "Y-yeah, but what if they suddenly want some water

POV: JACKSON Anger surged within me as I sat in my office. I still can't wrap my head around what Saint accused Samantha of. It doesn't make any sense; why would she do something like that? She’s my only sister, and we depended on each other after our parents passed away. Why would he want to blame her for this whole situation? Honestly, I think he's got it all wrong. And what room is he talking about? I stood up, realizing that Saint probably started suspecting her when Joshua handed him that letter. I need to talk to Joshua. He set all of this in motion, and I can finally check out the room where Saint claims they performed the spells. With that thought in mind, I headed toward Samantha's house. As I approached the path leading to her place, Eli linked to me through our minds. "Alpha, we have an issue. They've all suddenly vanished." "What do you mean?" "The warriors watching the unknown alphas reported that they're nowhere to be found—they’ve completely disappeared!" I l

POV: JACKSON When I finally regained consciousness, we were no longer in the open field; we were inside their hideout, the air close and musty, thick with the scent of old stone and unwashed bodies. I groaned as I tried to stand up but realized my legs felt numb and wouldn't support me, the muscles refusing to answer even the simplest command. Even if I wanted to move, the two shots of silver bane had left my body weak. That's what silver bane does, it paralyzes wolves for a while, the poison working its way through the bloodstream, dulling every sense it touched. Looking around, the walls looked ancient, older than any structure I recognized from our territory, and I found myself wondering just how long Samantha and her allies had been preparing this place, tucked away from every patrol we'd ever run. Tom, Blake, and Saint were nowhere in sight, neither were Eli or Chris, and the absence of all of them at once sent a fresh wave of dread pooling low in my stomach. "Where's..." I

POV: JACKSON The piercing scream caused Samantha to drop Saint, who hit the ground with a loud thud. I rushed over to him as he groaned in pain, his small body curling in on itself. "What's all that screaming about?" she asked, walking to the door to take a look. Seeing that the alpha had his back turned to me, I summoned all my strength and kicked his legs out from under him, causing him to topple backward. I quickly grabbed his neck and tightened my grip, preventing him from shifting. He retaliated by driving his elbows into my stomach repeatedly, sending waves of pain through me, but I held on tight, my knuckles white with the effort. The noise drew Samantha's attention back to us. Our eyes locked as I continued choking the alpha, my arms burning from the strain. She smirked and said, "Did you really think I would care if he died?" Then she lunged for Tom, who clung desperately to Saint. Pulling out a knife, she swung it at Saint, slicing across his face. The sound he made, half

POV: SAINT "Do you really have to stand here naked just because you got out of the shower?" I asked my sexy attractive blonde mate, who smirked at me and made me roll my eyes while I silently screamed, water still dripping from his hair onto the floor he clearly had no intention of wiping up. "Absolutely. And you enjoy it," he replied, slowly getting dressed while maintaining eye contact, taking his time with every button as though daring me to look away first. "I can see the mischief in your eyes, and no, we're not doing anything today. I'm exhausted and the kids are home." "I can take them back to Chris," he suggested right away with eagerness that made it clear he'd been planning this for a while. I just stared at him. "Or your mom?" I continued to give him a blank look, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of a response. He raised his hands in a playful gesture of surrender. "Alright, fine. No fucking until they're asleep." "That's not what I meant!" "Sure thi
