ALLISON P.O.V I ran toward the elevators, desperate to put distance between myself and the canteen. My hands trembled as I pressed the button for the eighteenth floor. Before the doors slid shut, I caught a clear glimpse of her. She had changed so much. From the simple woman I once knew, Cassandra now radiated elegance and wealth. She was no longer the older sister I remembered. A heavy question weighed on my mind. What was she doing here at our company? And what connection did she have with Dwayne? I had heard her shouting his name just before I walked away. I could barely focus when I reached the office. I was hungry because I had not finished my meal, yet my thoughts were entirely consumed by my sister. I stormed to my desk and dropped both hands hard onto the surface before resting my chin upon them. I told myself I should not waste time thinking about her, but then Dwayne crossed my mind unbidden. When I thought back to what had happened in the storage room, heat rose to my

DWAYNE’S P.O.V I pulled her quickly out of the bar and straight to the parking lot. My car had tinted windows so there would be no problem. I opened the door for her and got in right after. I kissed her roughly and she kissed me back just as hard. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me close. When we broke apart to breathe, she began to work my clothes off. I sat in the passenger seat while she straddled me. She kissed my chest and moved lower and lower across my body. I closed my eyes and let myself enjoy the feeling. I undressed her quickly and took hold of her full breasts. I sucked on her nipple and she arched against me. “Ahh, Ughhh, Dwayne!” She tangled her fingers deeper in my hair and pressed herself harder against me. I pulled away for a moment to catch my breath. I gently guided her to the other seat so I could remove my pants properly. I saw that she was already pulling down her skirt and underwear. I could barely control the heat rising inside me. My arousa

ALLISON’S P.O.V Greg is so exasperating, pulling me along everywhere. Where on earth is that man’s condominium anyway? It feels as though we have walked all over Makati just looking for it. Truth be told, our house is quite close to here so I should have just gone home. “Is it still far?” I asked because my legs were already aching from all the walking. Especially since I was carrying the things I had bought. Thankfully I left them in Greg’s car earlier before we came up. **THE RISE MAKATI** I looked up at the towering condominium building and felt slightly dizzy just gazing at it. That man is so wealthy. One can only dream of such things. “Just a moment. I am still trying to recall which floor Dwayne is on. I do not come here very often,” Greg said while scratching his head. I simply rolled my eyes. My feet are genuinely aching. I do not know why I even wore heels when I clearly should have expected all this walking. “We are going to the fifth floor,” he said and I just fo

ALLISON P.O.V I am not used to being dragged around, but today two different men have led me along twice already. It is a good thing the pain of my wounds has faded because of the medicine Dwayne applied, not to mention the comfortable slippers he bought for me when we left. We traveled quietly toward the restaurant. In less than fifteen minutes we reached Vikings Luxury Buffet at SM Jazz Makati. He chose this place himself so we could have plenty to eat. He said the food here is delicious, so I simply nodded. I had no choice anyway, for my stomach had been growling wildly for quite some time. When we stepped inside, we were greeted by a pleasant manager. "Good day, Ma'am. Good day, Sir Dwayne. Welcome to our restaurant. We hope you enjoy the food we serve. Right this way, please. Let me show you to your table," she said cheerfully, gesturing toward the path. I could not help glancing at the people carrying their own plates, busy serving themselves from the lined-up counters. I

DWAYNE'S P.O.V. "You did not tell me Rebecca was coming today," I asked Greg seriously once the two women had walked away. "You did not ask either. Hahaha," he answered unhelpfully while laughing, so I immediately rolled my eyes at him. "You have been teasing me all this time. I am this close to hitting you," I said with a laugh. Even though this man annoyed me, the truth remained that I had one crazy cousin. "You are just so much fun to tease. I even brought Allison along. You could at least say thank you," he kept on laughing, so I tossed a chicken bone from my plate straight at him. "Hey! That is cheating. Ouch," he said, holding his forehead where the bone had hit him. I was the one laughing then at the look on his face. "Hahaha, thank you," I teased him back. He glared back at me angrily. "Your lady's things are in my car. You take her home, that is if you plan to bring her all the way," he said, giving me a meaningful look. I threw the rest of my leftover food at him for
