Semua Bab Plus-Size Sweetheart Over 100 Pounds Down, I Dominated the Pack Hockey League!: Bab 1 - Bab 10

Five days later I looked at the bandaged, heavy body in the mirror and wanted to go straight back and strangle my stepmother. The man had told me why I had ended up at two hundred and forty pounds. From the day she married my father, she had been mixing pig feed and fattening potions into my food!"Don't get worked up, and don't cry. It slows the healing."He calmed me down. Half a month later, when I had recovered a little, I finally asked him why he was helping me.He never gave me a straight answer. He only said I could help him back.So the two of us founded our own private league of avengers, and he sent me home.My father and my stepmother didn't say anything. I thought the quiet would hold. Then, just as I finished unpacking, laughter broke out beyond my door."God! Why would Miss Hannah wear something like that?""You don't think that's how she got the Alpha, dressing like..."I opened the door and found Hannah in a slip dress that barely covered the parts that mattered. She wa

I had no idea what he was raving about. I only wanted to leave.Theron seemed to have expected me to deny it. He sneered."I saw you coming out of Coach Gordon's training center. You're eaten alive with jealousy of Hannah, and that's why you did this."Since you're so determined to destroy the job Hannah loves, you can find out what losing something feels like!"He nodded at his Gamma, and a crate of my mother's belongings was hauled out.I froze."Burn it.""No!" I screamed and lunged for the crate, but he crushed me to my knees with the force of his Alpha power.I turned and caught the hem of Theron's coat, begging him through sobs."Theron, I was wrong! I'm sorry, I'll apologize right now... please don't burn my mother's things..."Theron didn't move. He gave the order to his Gamma."What are you standing there for? Do it now!""Please, don't—"I knelt there in despair and watched the pack Gamma pour the fuel and light it.The flames shot up and swallowed the little bear my mother h

I posted a video online. In it, I raced across the ice through a series of gravity-defying jumps and ferocious, explosive moves.Within one hour, the video hit the trending list and its metrics rose exponentially.I sat on my couch and watched, amused, as Theron liked and commented under it like a maniac from his main account. He still had no idea that the knockout on his screen, the woman he was drooling over, was the same "wall" he had once claimed left him cold.Hannah went insane with jealousy. She immediately started a livestream, sobbing that some mystery account was maliciously copying her and hinting that her fans should mass-report my video. The next day Theron sent me an offer as an S-rank star player, an obscene amount of money to bring me onto his personal cheer squad.I reposted his offer with two cold words attached. "You wish."I hit Send. The whole network erupted, and I ground Theron's pride into the floor.A few days later, the marquee game of the hockey season began.

I went to Coach Gordon's funeral in a downpour. His wife placed the evidence he had gathered into my hands with great ceremony."He said this box held some of the evidence he had collected, all the proof you were looking for."I held that heavy box in both hands and dropped hard onto one knee in the mud. Then I made a fist and struck my own chest three times in front of Coach Gordon's headstone, to show him my respect.Back home, I opened the box and began sorting through Coach Gordon's evidence. There were complete, detailed transaction records for fixed matches and records of cheerleaders coerced into sex-for-favors schemes. There was also a recording of Hannah bragging in the locker room."What good is that fat pig? Her ring, her mate, they're just trophies I took."On the recording, Hannah's laugh was pure poison."The reason she turned into that disgusting, stupid thing is all my mother's work! Fattening agents and hormones in her food every single day. She's garbage. She was alwa

Theron's case moved fast. He had been stupid enough to back up every single file on his phone. When I went with Everett to see him in prison, he begged Everett to save him."Everett... you have to get me out."Theron pressed against the glass, gripping the handset, pleading in half sentences. "For the sake of the seasons we played in the same league, help me find a lawyer... I can't stay in here! Get me out and my money, my contacts, all of it is yours!"The look in Everett's eyes was ice."Your father was taken into custody. Did you know that?"Theron stared at him. "Why? Why did you do this!"Everett answered him, "You have probably forgotten. Fifteen years ago, during that chain of crashes on the mountain course, your father paid off the track inspector so he could seize control of league resources. My parents and my unborn sister were killed. Their bodies were never even recovered from the avalanche."I took Everett's hand, hoping to make it hurt a little less."Now you can pay for
