The final bell of the semester had rung over twenty minutes ago, signaling the official end of exams and the chaotic exodus of term-end wrap-ups, but the classroom was still densely packed with the residual energy of students lingering behind. Groups clustered around desks, gossiping, slamming textbooks shut, and making vacation plans.I sat alone in the very last row, tucked safely against the wall in a shadow where nobody bothered to look. I was a ghost, a permanent loner entirely invisible to the social hierarchy of the school. I had no clique, no whispered secrets to share, and no friends. To everyone in this room, I simply didn't exist. I was Mia Hardwood, and I preferred it that way. Keeping my head down was my armor, protecting me from the casual cruelties and blinding spotlights of high school life. Then, a low, smooth voice cut through the overlapping chatter, slicing straight into the heavy monologue of my own thoughts."Mia."The sound of my name felt jarring, almost foreig

The front door of my house loomed just a few feet away, a familiar wooden sanctuary promising safety, distance, and a chance to finally drag oxygen back into my starved lungs. I reached out, my fingers trembling as I gripped the brass handle, desperate to slip inside and lock out the suffocating proximity of the car."Mia."His voice stopped me dead in my tracks, freezing my hand on the latch.I turned back slowly, my heart hammering a reckless, heavy rhythm against my ribs. Alex was standing near the edge of the driveway, the golden afternoon sun catching the sharp angles of his face and turning his dark hair into spun silk. He looked impossibly breathtaking, the kind of devastatingly handsome that felt illegal to look at, wielding a smile that had brought half the girls at our school to their knees. It was the exact smile I was utterly defenseless against, the one that made my stomach knot up and my chest bubble with a dangerous, traitorous warmth."I got something for you," he said

The silence that followed the snap of his belt felt loud enough to crack the plaster on the walls. With a slow, deliberate agony that made my own skin prickle with sweat, my shaking hands went straight to the waistband of his trousers. I popped the metal button open with a sharp, metallic sound, dragging the heavy zipper down. My breath hitched violently, a low, desperate moan catching in my throat at the sight and the heavy, radiating heat that immediately met my eyes. He was already hard—thick, pulsing, and weeping clear, slippery pre-cum down the sensitive shaft, making my mouth water instantly and soaking the fabric of my panties even further against my thighs.Without giving myself a second to hesitate or overthink the sheer madness of what I was doing, I sank slowly down to my knees on the hardwood bedroom floor, letting out a soft, ragged sigh as I parted my lips and took him in.The sudden, sharp intake of breath above me was all the warning I got before his broad hands came

The air in the room was still heavy, thick with the scent of skin and secrets, but the illusion of warmth had already curdled into ice. Then it hit me.The jealousy didn’t just rise—it tore through my chest like a jagged blade, a blinding, green-eyed fury that knocked the wind straight out of my lungs. It was toxic, corrosive poison flooding my veins, burning away every last trace of the innocent girl I used to be.Vera.The name alone felt like glass shards scraping down my throat, tearing me apart from the inside out. The untouchable golden girl, the school's pristine cheerleader captain who probably imagined Alex’s world revolved around her blonde hair and vapid, rehearsed laughter. He had used me—body and soul, taking the one thing I had guarded like a sacred vault—only to check his watch like I was an inconvenience, tossing me aside to make room for her.The thought of him touching her with the exact same hands that had just mapped my body, the thought of her skin sliding over th

The relentless pounding at the door vibrated straight through the floorboards, a heavy, rhythmic assault that threatened to shatter the fragile illusion of our safety. It echoed against the walls like a physical warning, reminding us just how thin the barrier was between our twisted, clandestine reality and the pristine, orderly world waiting outside.Alex stood frozen for a fraction of a second, his dark eyes wide with a rare, flashing panic before his expression slammed back into a mask of cold, calculated dominance. The chaotic energy of his rage evaporated in an instant, replaced by the ice-cold survival instinct of a man who had entirely too much to lose.He didn't look at me. His gaze shot from the heavy wood of the hallway entrance back to the rumpled, chaotic state of the bed, taking in every single incriminating detail with ruthless, surgical efficiency.Bang. Bang. Bang."Alex, I swear to God, if you're ignoring me—open this door!" Vera’s voice cut through the wood, shrill a
