Bianca flung her handbag at me as if I'd committed some unforgivable crime."When we got married, you promised you'd always be faithful to me. My begging didn't soften her heart. We rushed to the hospital. When Dr. Ames heard about Lily's condition, he slammed his palm on the desk."This is absurd! Why did you wait until she was this sick to bring her in? At the hospital, I waited anxiously outside Lily's room.A nurse came out, drenched in sweat."Thank goodness Dr. Ames stepped in himself. It was touch and go for a while, but she's stable now. From now on, though, you have to be very careful. She absolutely can't be exposed to any more shocks."I nodded shakily."Tell Conrad not to worry. I won't let anything hurt my daughter again."Aurelia called, and I gently reassured her."She's okay. Conrad's been looking after her health all along.
