That question makes me nervous because it often leads to piracy. The official channels are retailers: Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Google Play Books, Apple Books. Audiobook version is on Audible, Spotify, or Libro.fm. Any site offering a 'free full read' is unauthorized and illegal. Authors get paid per sale or library borrow, so those free sites actively hurt their income.

It's a contemporary romance, not some obscure academic text unavailable for purchase. It's widely accessible. There's no justification for piracy here. Save your ethical dilemmas for something actually difficult to access.

From a fandom perspective, supporting the author financially is how we get more content. If 'The Love Hypothesis' sells well, the publisher is more likely to greenlight similar stories or for her to write a sequel. Pirating it literally reduces the chance of getting more of what you love. It's self-defeating.

Thinking about it from a fan's perspective: if you love an author's work, you want them to keep writing. That happens through sales. Steering people toward pirate sites is actively working against your own interests as a fan. Be a good fan and pay for the art.

I'm out of coffee, and this thread is making me grumpy. Support artists. Buy the book or borrow it. The end.

“In psychology, every feeling differs in each other through stages, that’s why different terms are created from affection, attachment, lust, and love. My feeling for you is only pure affection, it was not lust nor love. Our attachment to each other is not that strong so we cannot assume there is love between us, even after our first sight. We’ve just met. I am uncertain about what I feel for you. Space from you is honestly what I need right now. My apologies but I cannot be with you.”

I borrowed the audiobook version from my library using the CloudLibrary app. The narrator was fantastic, really brought Olive and Adam to life. The experience was totally free and legal. I listen while I commute, so it made the drive enjoyable. The key is to have a few different library cards if you can—some cities allow non-resident cards for a small annual fee, which expands your pool. Check your state's digital library network as well; sometimes there's a statewide e-library you can access with any local card. It sounds complicated, but it's usually just one extra login. More libraries equals shorter wait times.
You could also listen to an author interview. Sometimes, when Ali Hazelwood is interviewed on podcasts, she’ll read a short passage from the book. It’s a cool way to hear the author’s own intonation and get her thoughts on the scene right before she shares it. Search her name on your podcast app and look for episodes from around the book’s release date. It’s more about the context than the text itself, but it makes the preview feel special.
I had a hard time finding 'The Love Hypothesis' as an ebook at first, honestly. My local library's digital catalog had a waitlist that was miles long, which was a total bummer. I ended up checking the usual retail spots – Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo – and they all had it for purchase, no issue there.
If you're hoping to avoid buying it, definitely check out apps like Libby or Hoopla and link your library card. It's free, but you might have to be patient and get on that holds list. I caved and bought my copy on Kindle in the end because I wanted to read it right then, and honestly, it was worth the few bucks to get the instant gratification.
