So I think Audible is the official spot for the audiobook version of 'City of Gods and Monsters.' It's where I got mine, and it's read by Vanessa Moyen, who does a great job bringing Loren to life—her voice really fits the urban fantasy vibe and the character's snark. I checked the author's site once, and it linked straight there too, so it feels like the main source.
Sometimes these indie-published fantasy books get weird with availability, popping up on one platform but not another. I remember looking for it on Libby through my library and couldn’t find it, so it might be an Audible exclusive, at least for now. That’s kind of a bummer if you’re not into subscriptions, but they do have that whole free credit thing for new members.
It's on Audible. Vanessa Moyen narrates. The production quality is good, no weird background noises or anything. I listened to it during my commute and it made the drive way better—the fight scenes are especially intense in audio format.
Honestly, I just googled it. I was desperate to listen after finishing the ebook and found it on Audible. No luck on Spotify or anything else, which was a bit annoying because I prefer having everything in one app. It’s definitely there, though.
I will say, the narration took a minute to grow on me. The pacing felt a little slow at first, but once the action picks up, it’s solid. Wish there was a sample longer than five minutes to really get a feel before buying.

Checking for 'City of Lost Souls' on audio is a bit like digging for treasure. It's the fifth book in Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, and its publishing rights shifted around over the years, so availability depends on your region. The Simon & Schuster Audio version, narrated by Natalie Moore, is the one to look for.
I found mine through Audible a while back, but I've heard people say it sometimes disappears from certain marketplaces. It's definitely on Scribd as part of their subscription catalog, which is a solid, all-you-can-listen option if you're a frequent audiobook user. Your local library is another great route; most use apps like Libby or Hoopla, and you can place a hold for the digital copy. I've had mixed luck with Google Play Books and Apple Books—sometimes they have it, sometimes they don't. It's worth a quick search across all those platforms.
A heads-up: avoid any site that offers a free 'download' without a subscription or library login. Those are almost always pirated, the audio quality is terrible, and it just feels wrong for the author who created this whole Shadowhunter world we love. The official versions have that crisp, professional narration that really brings Clary and Jace's chaotic energy to life, especially during those intense Malachi plot moments.
