which has a full cast and sound effects, is on a service called Naver Audio. Last I checked, it was only available in Korean, which was a bummer for me.
I did hear a rumor that some fan-made English narrations exist on YouTube, but the quality varies wildly and they're obviously not official. Honestly, it feels like the kind of series that deserves a proper global audiobook release, given its popularity. My advice is to keep an eye on the publisher's social media; sometimes they announce these things for international audiences later. Until then, Naver Audio is the only confirmed source I know of, even with the language barrier.

Checked recently, and there's still no official English audiobook. The Korean one is on Naver Audio. Some aggregator sites list it, but those links usually go to dead ends or sketchy pages. Your best, safest bet is to hope for an official license announcement in the future. For now, the written version on Tapas is the most accessible way to experience the story.

Man, the search for this audiobook was a whole journey. I got really into the webtoon and wanted to listen on my commute, so I went digging. The official audio drama is locked behind the Naver Series app. You need a Korean account to even access it, and it's not cheap. I tried using a VPN and everything, but the payment method was the final wall.
It's frustrating because the clips I've heard sound amazing—the actress for Melissa is perfect. There are a few people on SoundCloud who've uploaded snippets or their own readings, but it's not the same. I ended up just re-reading the manhwa instead. It's a shame; Tapas or another English publisher should really pick up the audio rights.

Yan Zi, a botanist and author, accidentally transmigrated into her own historical novel as the notorious villainess. She meets Xu Kai, the handsome Co-Commander of the Imperial Military Guards, who is attracted to her during their dangerous missions together. However, knowing that she will not have a happy ending as a villainess, Yan Zi refuses to fall in love with Xu Kai. But somehow after escaping an unexpected intruder attack, watching the stars under the waxing moon, and spending a sweet and sweaty night together, everything starts to change..
I transmigrated into the role of a gorgeous villainess, tasked with tormenting my childhood buddies.
I forced Maddox, Mr. Tough Guy, into putting on a sexy dress, essentially killing his chances of a social life.
I grabbed the bottom of the ever-aloof Zane and made him red in the face.
I kicked Damian, the crybaby, into the ground, and all he could do was glare at me through his tearful eyes.
My aggressive antics only fueled their resentment.
“One of these days, I’ll get you.”
I winked at them without a care. “I’ll be waiting.”

Elena Vale was the villainess of a romance novel—written to be hated, destroyed, and discarded at the end of the story.
And she did die exactly like that.
Until she woke up at the beginning of it all.
The night of the Arden Charity Gala.
The night everything was supposed to start.
This time, Elena remembers everything—every betrayal, every humiliation, every moment she was written to lose.
But instead of begging for survival…
She chooses revenge.
Because if the world insists she is the villainess, then she will become one they cannot control.
A woman who does not beg for love.
A woman who builds power instead of tears.
A woman who turns her ending into a beginning of destruction.
And as she rises, something strange begins to happen.
The male lead who once ignored her starts watching.
The heroine who was supposed to replace her starts trembling.
And the system that once promised her survival begins to warn her:
[WARNING: Villainess behavior exceeds original plot limits.]
But Elena is no longer afraid of the story.
She is rewriting it.
And this time… she will be the one they fear.
Three years ago, Serena Blackwood was the Capital's most notorious villainess. Accused of drowning the Prime Beta's daughter, she was exiled to The Silent Abbey, a hellhole meant to break rebellious wolves.
Everyone thought she would return broken, stripped of her pride.
They were wrong.
Serena returns not as a sinner, but as a Queen. Riding a rare Jade-Eye stallion and draped in Moon-Silk, she is more beautiful, more lethal, and more arrogant than ever.
Her ex-fiancé, Alpha Patrick, rejects her for a "gentle" white lotus? Serena laughs and throws the mating token back in his face.
The nobles want to humiliate her? She knocks out a Prince's fangs in the middle of the street.
"I am not here to repent," Serena whispers, her golden eyes glowing with a predatory light. "I am here to rule."
But she has a secret. The Alpha King doesn't just tolerate her wildness—he spoils her rotten. And as the Shadow Council moves in the dark, Serena reveals her true form: a Silver Wolf of legend, the only one capable of saving—or destroying—the Kingdom.
Aurelia Giliam is her name now, what her original was she can’t remember. Her past life comes back to her in a painful headache. She somehow got into the body of the villainess of an otome game she enjoyed playing. This villainess caused trouble left and right for the heroine. But in the end, she always ends up getting abandoned by her family and dying in the end with no one to mourn her death. Now she was this villainess. Man, I get so annoyed seeing this asked on forums and everyone just spams the same aggregator sites. Those usually have unofficial scans, and the translations can get pretty rough. I’ve had better luck looking at the source—like the actual apps that license the stuff.
Tapas and Tappytoon are my usual spots. They've got a ton of the popular villainess titles, 'The Villainess Turns the Hourglass' and 'I Stole the Male Lead's First Night' are both up there with official translations. The quality is consistent, and you can usually read a good chunk for free with daily passes or something. Webtoon has a few too, but you gotta dig a bit more in their romance or fantasy sections. I just browse the 'Villainess' tag directly on those apps, it's way faster than trusting random blog lists.
Ended up subscribing to Tappytoon for a few series I was hooked on. It's not free, but the updates are reliable and the pages load way smoother than on those ad-infested free sites.
I actually looked this up last week because I wanted something to listen to while commuting. As far as I can tell, 'Villainess Maker' doesn't have an official audiobook release yet, at least not in English. I checked Audible, Google Play, and a couple of other major platforms and came up empty. It's a shame because the webtoon is so popular, you'd think there'd be a push for an audio version by now.
You might have better luck looking for fan-made readings on YouTube, though the quality and completeness can be really hit-or-miss. I found one channel that was doing a decent dramatic reading of the early chapters, but they stopped updating months ago. For now, if you want the story, you're probably stuck with reading the webtoon or the original novel translation online.
