The comics adaptation might be more accessible. Sometimes the webcomic version on Tapas or Webtoon has a more generous free model with daily passes. It's a different medium, but it tells the same core story with great art. Worth checking out as an alternative.

The most reliable method I've found is using the 'read aloud' feature on the official platform's sample. I let it play while I'm doing other things. I get through the free chapters, and if I'm hooked by the end, I purchase. It's a hands-free way to sample.

I had a bookmark folder full of sites for this series. One by one, they all went offline or became unusable. The only one that's lasted is a forum where the links are in spoiler tags and you have to reply to see them. It's a whole process, but it's still alive.

The official stance is no, not for the full thing. The business model relies on serialized pay-per-chapter or subscription access. Sites like Tapas or Manta operate on that 'free first few, then pay or wait' system, and I think Infaa Alocious is on one of those.
You can get a decent chunk for free if you're patient and use the daily free chapter passes. It turns reading into a slow drip, but it's a legitimate way to experience the story without spending money upfront.
Aggregator sites that claim to have all chapters free are almost always stealing content and reposting it with awful formatting. The pages are also littered with redirects that make reading on a phone a nightmare.

Sometimes the free version is the original web serial, which is longer and rougher than the edited, published novel. Some fans prefer that version for its raw, unpolished feel and extra subplots that got cut for pacing. That might be worth hunting for in archives.

Welcome to your newest obsession.
Welcome to Lustful chapters.
The obsession with this novel is real in my Discord. Someone just dropped a Google Drive link yesterday that had a PDF of the first four chapters, sourced from a now-defunct promo site. It's still floating around if you dig through fan threads. Not sure how legal it is, but it's out there.
Look for curated sites that specialize in 'light novel' or 'web novel' aggregates with quality control. Sites like 'NovelUpdates' don't host content but act as a directory. They link to translation groups' own websites, which are usually cleaner and more respectful of the work than the scrapers. You can see user ratings, reviews, and tags for each series, including Infaa Alocious.
They also track translation progress, so you'll know if a project is ongoing, stalled, or complete. This prevents the heartbreak of getting 80% through a story only to find the last few chapters were never translated. It's a planning tool as much as a discovery tool. Bookmark the series page and check it periodically for new links.
Has anyone actually seen an official English translation? I remember the fan translations were huge years ago, but I have no idea if a publisher ever picked it up.
It's one of those series that feels like it's in licensing limbo—super popular in certain circles but no clear legal way to read it in English. Super frustrating for collectors.
Have you checked Scribble Hub? I don't think they host official licenses, but sometimes authors publish their original English works there. Wait, 'Infaa Alocious' is a translation, right? Then never mind. For official translations, you really need to look at the bigger commercial platforms, not community writing sites.
The number is less important than knowing where to find the good stuff. The first two novels are on Royal Road. The next two moved to a subscription platform. The fifth one is back on a free site. It's a mess! Just use an aggregator site that tracks updates across platforms; it'll show you all the titles and where they're hosted.
No, and it's frustrating. Other web novels in the same genre have started getting audio adaptations, so there's precedent. I'm hoping that as the genre grows in popularity, 'Infaa Alocious' will get its turn. We should all request it on Audible's suggestion page.
Huh. I just searched my local library's OverDrive and found nothing. Maybe it's a US thing?
The regional differences in digital lending are wild. Something available in one county's system is completely absent in the next.
