What New York Times Paperback Best Sellers Topped April 2024?

What did catch my eye, though, was the nonfiction side. 'The Creative Act: A Way of Being' by Rick Rubin staying power is fascinating—it’s a book about creativity that’s become a perennial seller, almost a modern classic in that weird self-help/art philosophy niche. And 'Killers of the Flower Moon' is still on the list, which says a lot about how a major film adaptation can resurrect interest years later. For me, these monthly lists are less about discovery and more about tracking the cultural weather. April’s forecast was mostly clear skies with a few familiar, comfortable clouds. Nothing stormy or radically new broke through, which sometimes happens in the spring months before the summer blockbuster books hit.
