Oh, 'Notoriously, Yours'? I’ve seen that book pop up in recommendations alongside other
dark romance titles, but no, it doesn’t belong to a series. It’s a solo act, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. The story dives deep into this twisted, passionate dynamic between the main characters, and it doesn’t need multiple books to build tension—it’s all right there, condensed and explosive. I read it last summer, and what stuck with me was how unapologetically messy it was. No franchise-building, no cliffhangers, just a raw, one-shot narrative.
I think the standalone nature works in its favor because the ending packs a punch. If it were part of a series, some of the impact might’ve been diluted. The author really commits to the idea of this being a closed loop, which is rare nowadays. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing more stories in the same vein—maybe something with a similar tone or setting. But as it stands, 'Notoriously, Yours' is a complete experience, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
