Their newly found love will face immense hardship in trying to hold on as they search for a way to be together. The story also focuses on how one of them loses his memory and struggles to regain recollections from his past, with every recovered memory openly contradicting the current reality he is faced with. He will struggle trying to find a balance between memories of the past and reality of the current, even as he searches for ways to reconnect with others including his current love interest. The scenes are beautifully shot to capture tension as well as coziness. Because of how the story is structured, we get to see a lot of development of the two leads as well as other characters. In supporting roles, they bring a lot of depth to the story, and some even complicate things for the leads or aid them in ways that are unexpected. Together, the entire cast explores the significance of memories and shared experiences of the two leads and how those affect their lives. The show is able to pull a lot of emotions out of the viewer and forces us to think about how love can still exist in people’s lives even when memories are being taken away and how stronger bonds of connection than what physical life can create exist in many cases. The scenes have definitely pulled tears out of me on numerous occasions, so much that it’s evident the creators truly cared about developing and telling this meaningful story. In summary, ‘Loving Never Forgetting’ is a beautiful portrayal of the love that can exist between two people, even when the woman has lost her memory. This drama will touch your heart and get you thinking. It is a love story that people in all sorts of relationships can relate to, and can help you to consider the importance of past and present. I highly recommend this, and I guarantee that ‘Loving Never Forgetting’ is one of those few dramas that will stick with you long after the drama has ended.

I have mixed feelings about the ending of ‘Love Letter from the Future’ which I found to be somewhat bittersweet rather than purely positive. For me, the central conflict of ‘Love Letter from the Future’ is one of time and fate, and it’s not easily resolved. While some characters do reach a point of peace and find some form of closure, it is not easily achieved and often involves considerable sacrifice. The ending is not one where everyone can walk off into the sunset in search of their own ‘happily ever after’. If you’re after stories that end up on the very positive side then this story may leave you with more questions than you had at the start. The emotional payoff is there but with a tinge of sadness at what has been lost along the way. It's a pleasant but odd story, fitting the themes of the collection. It's not quite the sort of story I would have liked, emotionally.

This manhwa is very detailed in its depiction of cause and effect. Furthermore, it’s clear that Seo-yeon and Kang are the main characters of their own downfall. It’s very effective in how you can understand and even agree with each of their decisions as they unfold, and at the same time realize that they’re heading for disaster. The way to create such sympathetic and yet also annoying characters is demonstrated masterfully.

The ending is deeply rooted in the Chinese BL webnovel tradition and is cleverly constructed to play with readers' expectations of certain tropes and to subvert them. So while readers will get the miscommunication, years apart and powerful CEO love interest that they would expect from a drama like this, the ending will frame it all in a way that critiques the very drama that the plot has created. This is like the story is saying, "You wanted an epic love story? OK. Here's epic love. It's exhausting and damaging in so many ways. And this is what happens after." There are many books that have been banned but then go on to become bestsellers such as ‘1984’ by George Orwell because it is a strong critique of governments. An interesting note about this banned book is that it is about the silencing of women and was silenced. The story of Hester and her consequences are very real and relatable. They are messy and human and, in a society afraid of things it does not understand, the novel is even more relevant today in terms of issues of shame, women’s autonomy, and who gets to judge.

This is not a true story but it was so well done that I didn’t care. It is fiction done right with lots of emotional depth to make you forget it is not real. The author must be very talented because all of the made up moments seemed so real. He must have done a great job with the pacing and dialogue because this book has stuck with me even after finishing it.

While there are no set rules to writing an anniversary letter, I’d aim to write something that could be read in a few minutes and would highlight some of the special little things you may not always say to each other throughout the year. Wu Song’s story for example runs from his fight with the tiger that attacked a woman to his later revenge for his brother’s murder and his subsequent flight from the law. All this is told in detailed narrative. Historical fiction of a large sweep of years is often shorter than biographical fiction of detailed individual lives.
