Who Produces The Most Viral African Casting Full Videos?

I follow a handful of channels to get at the best of the viral African casting full videos that end up being shared in their viral form across the internet. The big broadcast and streaming channels like ‘Africa Magic’ and ‘Maisha Magic’ (MultiChoice owned) upload full auditions, full casting sessions etc. as they were. Then there are the more digital first outlets like ‘Linda Ikeji TV’ and ‘Pulse Nigeria’ who post the full casting videos and also do interviews with the talent that go viral for some reason or another. On the more long form documentary/maker side of things is ‘Ndani TV’. Their long form casting videos and talent videos are very popular as they are well made in terms of production value but also very real in terms of showing talent discovery.

However, much of this content also gets uploaded onto Social Media Platforms and sometimes certain creators/talent/acquisitions teams post full versions of these auditions and sometimes even full versions of casting processes and production for said films/vlogs etc. for the world to see. These then get chopped up into clips and shared on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook and Instagram Reels. Most often these get shared on YouTube as full versions though, mainly through channels that are associated with music such as Trace Africa, or with Global news outlets like the BBC Africa Channel, that post up videos of Casting, for a certain Talent or Feature etc.

I must say that sometimes it is the best content. In terms of why these videos go viral, I can note a few things. Most of these videos feature very recognizable names/judges. Some of them are just really surprising auditions. Some of them have really good titles and thumbnails. Also, some of the creators smartly cross-post these videos on all of their platforms. For the short clips that get shared all over social media, you can find those on TikTok and Instagram, all credits to the respective channels. These full casting videos are raw and fascinating.
