Tech books are expensive, but I’ve found workarounds. Apress’s 'Open Access' section has solid picks like 'Beginning Java.' I’ve also raided ACM’s Digital Library during free-access events—they partner with publishers for temporary giveaways.

For indie stuff, Smashwords distributes free CS titles, though quality varies. BookBoon specializes in free textbooks, including 'C++ for Beginners.' And don’t sleep on HackerNoon’s free guides; they collaborate with tech publishers for bite-sized eBooks. If you’re into game dev, CRC Press occasionally offers free books like 'Game Programming Patterns.' Just keep an eye on Humble Bundle’s tech bundles—they’ve included O’Reilly books for pennies.

I swear by the Free Programming Books GitHub repo—it’s a curated list with links to books from publishers like Apress (free chapters) and Addison-Wesley (occasional giveaways). Pragmatic Bookshelf sometimes releases free beta versions, like 'Seven Databases in Seven Weeks.'

Green Tea Press, run by Allen Downey, offers gems like 'Think Python' and 'Think Bayes' for zero cost. Even Microsoft Press has free eBooks on Azure and C#. For cutting-edge topics, check out Leanpub; authors often publish free drafts, like 'Deep Learning for Coders.' Remember, many universities (e.g., Stanford’s CS library) host free publisher-backed materials too.

As someone who thrives on tech knowledge but hates emptying my wallet, I’ve hunted down some amazing publishers offering free CS books. O’Reilly’s Open Books Project is a goldmine, with classics like 'Understanding Linux Network Internals' available gratis. Packt often runs promotions where they give away free eBooks, and I’ve snagged gems like 'Python Crash Course' during these events.

Springer’s 'Open Access' collection is another lifesaver, especially for academic depth—think 'Data Structures and Algorithms in Java.' No Starch Press occasionally offers free titles, and Manning’s 'Early Access' program lets you read drafts for free. Don’t overlook MIT Press’s open-courseware books either; 'Introduction to Algorithms' is a standout. For niche topics, GitBook hosts community-driven free resources, like 'The Art of Command Line.'

Set Me Free
He starts nibbling on my chest and starts pulling off my bra away from my chest. I couldn’t take it anymore, I push him away hard and scream loudly and fall off the couch and try to find my way towards the door. He laughs in a childlike manner and jumps on top of me and bites down on my shoulder blade. “Ahhh!! What are you doing! Get off me!!” I scream clawing on the wooden floor trying to get away from him.He sinks his teeth in me deeper and presses me down on the floor with all his body weight. Tears stream down my face while I groan in the excruciating pain that he is giving me. “Please I beg you, please stop.” I whisper closing my eyes slowly, stopping my struggle against him.He slowly lets me go and gets off me and sits in front of me. I close my eyes and feel his fingers dancing on my spine; he keeps running them back and forth humming a soft tune with his mouth. “What is your name pretty girl?” He slowly bounces his fingers on the soft skin of my thigh. “Isabelle.” I whisper softly.“I’m Daniel; I just wanted to play with you. Why would you hurt me, Isabelle?” He whispers my name coming closer to my ear.I could feel his hot breathe against my neck. A shiver runs down my spine when I feel him kiss my cheek and start to go down to my jaw while leaving small trails of wet kisses. “Please stop it; this is not playing, please.” I hold in my cries and try to push myself away from him.

Sequel of 'Set Me Free', hope everyone enjoys reading this book as much as they liked the previous one. “What is your name?” A deep voice of a man echoes throughout the poorly lit room. His blurry vision keeps on roaming around the trying to find the one he has been looking for forever. Isabelle, the only reason he is holding on, all this pain he is enduring just so that he could see her once he gets out of this place. “What is your name?!” The man now loses his patience and brings up the electrodes his temples and gives him a shock. Daniel screams and throws his legs around and pulls on his wrists hard but it doesn’t work. The man keeps on holding the electrodes to his temples to make him suffer more and more importantly to damage his memories of her. But little did he know the only thing that is keeping Daniel alive is the hope of meeting Isabelle one day. “Do you know her?” The man holds up a photo of Isabelle in front of his face and stops the shocks. “Yes, she is my Isabelle.” A small smile appears on his lips while his eyes close shut.
