Where Can I Read The Try Begging Novel Online?

I got hooked on the premise of 'Try Begging' and need a legit site—no pirated copies—that won’t crash mid-chapter. Is it on MoboReader or Tapas, maybe?

I’m assuming by “Try Begging” you mean a specific novel, not just a collection of scenes where someone desperate begs and then regrets it. You can search for “Try Begging” on Webnovel or NovelUpdates to see if it’s been licensed. I recently finished reading “Too Late To Beg” which is entirely about a character realizing they were wrong too late in life and the consequences of their actions. The novel isn’t about the begging but the tension of the actions having irreversible consequences.

Try Begging ( Novel ) – This is another of my usual hunting grounds. I head to NovelUpdates first to see if there is any translation going on and if there are any links to read the latest chapters (whether it’s an official translation or a fan translation). Then I search for the exact title in quotes in “Try Begging novel” and look for results on Webnovel, ScribbleHub, Royal Road and Wattpad as sometimes the lesser known novels are published on these sites.

Check the author’s website (you can find out if the author has a Twitter, or Patreon account and check their website where they may post chapters for paid subscribers). Often, authors will post chapters on their own personal website before they are available on translation sites, and on Webnovel/Qidian/Kindle as an official release. Also, there are small Discord servers, or private Reddit groups for titles. These are good places to ask the translator for updates on the latest chapter, as well as finding lists of available chapters. Be careful to avoid pirated copies of novels. The best way to support a novelist is to follow links from their website, or from reputable sites such as NovelUpdates to go to the official translation, and even consider paying for the novel if it’s available.

The simplest way to search for Novels that are in translation and are either only released in serialized form or have stopped being published is to type 'Try Begging' plus "novel" into a search engine. Then scroll down the first page of results looking for reliable sites. NovelUpdates is the easiest gateway to translated novels as they often list the various translation projects on offer and link to the official sites where you can read them in English should an official English translation have been released first.

I also check for communities on platforms like Reddit or Discord channels dedicated to specific genres. You can often find out where to find up-to-date fan translations and whether the author has been contacted for permission to translate. This is also where you can support the author by using a legal platform to read the novel, or by donating to the translator on their Patreon, especially for lesser-known novels that rely on the community for support.

I use catalog sites to search for novels first. So I would search for “Try Begging novel” on a search engine and then head to NovelUpdates to see if there are any project links. If NovelUpdates doesn’t have any links for the novel then I might check out Webnovel, ScribbleHub, Royal Road, and Wattpad as those sites typically have translations of novels as well as a large collection of indie novels being published as serials. I’d also search for the author’s name, or check out the novel’s subreddit/Discord and ask the community if there’s a current translation.

Prefer official releases over fan-made works to best support the creators of said novel. If no official release is available, consider supporting the work by following the translator(s) and/or donating to keep the translations coming.

I actually looked for 'Try Begging' (late at night when I should be reading) so I can update the note. I basically go in a step by step manner of searching for quotes from the book, searching on NovelUpdates for the novel, and then searching for likely hosts for web novels. ScribbleHub, Royal Road, Webnovel (and Qidian) are all typical places to go for web novels, while Wattpad and Tapas host a lot of webnovels (mostly indi English novels though).

I also use community threads a lot. I’ll ask a question in a small subreddit or post in a Discord chat for a certain genre of books and ask if anyone knows if there is someone translating ‘Try Begging’ or if it’s been licensed. Sometimes people post links to direct versions of the book, archived chapter lists, etc. And occasionally someone will recommend buying an ebook of the translated book. I sort of keep track of the different chapters as they come out and try to determine how fast the translation is progressing. It’s a sort of patience game, but it’s really great to find an honest translation.

How many chapters are in Try Begging Me novel?

2 Answers2025-07-08
I am not quite sure how many chapters Try Begging Me has right now. On E-book platforms, the chapters are sometimes added or translated. So for ongoing novels, the total chapters keep changing. Be My Slave: A Mafia Romance on the other hand is a complete mafia romance novel that spans a high-stakes dramatic storyline. The story has a power exchange premise and the female lead is so defiant that she creates so much of danger in the world of organized crime and constant tension in this Mafia Romance.

This is a wonderful novel and it’s been a real rollercoaster of emotions for me. I actually found it by chance after seeing a short edit of it on TikTok and managed to track down a MTL (machine translated) version of it from a website that does them. The grammar was atrocious, but the hook of the plot was enough to keep me interested and continue reading it. Later on, I found a much better, fully translated version of it from a Reddit thread in the r/OtomeIsekai sub, which is an amazing resource for questions like these. Lots of people post links where they read ongoing series in that sub, so if you search for the title of something you’re looking for, there’s probably going to be a recent post with a working link to current chapters. The community is also pretty good about updating links when a source changes.

Where can I read 'Cry Even Better If You Beg' for free?

This tension in the economics of webcomics is fascinating. People want to read webcomics for free immediately, and for good reason, but creators have to eat. The freemium model of daily passes is how the industry has managed to deal with this so far. Right now ‘Cry Even Better If You Beg’ is free to read, Episode 1 is available for free on the webcomic’s official website. Tomorrow, Episode 2 will likely be available as well. The fast-paced serialization of a dramatic webcomic is actually enhanced by the free nature of the initial chapters, as the climaxes hit much harder when there is time to ponder them over the course of a day or two, and discussion with your fellow readers online can create anticipation that simply is not present when reading pirated, bledted PDFs of the work for instant gratification. If you are unable to wait that long then you can subscribe to read the next episode immediately, for a price. But calling this ‘buying the ability to binge read’ makes this clear choice between waiting and paying look like a barrier rather than what it is.

Where can I read the flowers are bait novel online?

One has to consider not just where one is going to read a story, but also in what order its chapters are to be read. The Translator’s Table of Contents (linked from Shinkai at the top of this page) lays out chapters of Flowers are Bait in prologue, main story, and bonus sections. That they were written to be read in that particular order is crucial to appreciating several layers of symbolism which grow gradually from the protagonist’s growing realization of the true nature of the flowers he’s been using to catch girls. Getting to understand that slowly is key to his growing up and, to readers, to their getting to appreciate the central metaphor of the story. An aggregator might not care to recreate the structure for such work, though.

Where can I read Call Boy novel online for free?

This could also be a project for a Lost Media Wiki-style website for fanfiction - users can create listings for missing stories, for fragments of stories that have been found, and collaborate to complete the missing works. In the meantime, networking might be the best tool to find a lost story. Spread the word you are searching for a story on all the platforms you are active on. Tweet about it, make a Tumblr post, ask your Discord servers. If you are that polite and show your appreciation for the found material, fandom archivists are quite willing to share their finds with you.

Where can I read 'my childhood friends are trying to kill me'?

It’s quite a huge spoiler in the title, isn’t it? But actually once you know the core conflict of the story then the rest of the story is about how and why, not what. So it’s an interesting narrative choice. It allows the author to create a lot of dramatic irony and to trace the growing paranoia of the protagonist from the very first page. We readers are waiting for the moment of the big betrayal that he cannot see. And it creates a different kind of suspense than most stories. I was even yelling at the protagonist to trust the wrong person, knowing what was coming for him. But that kind of meta-layer of dread is very expertly crafted. The title itself seems so blunter than that but it is actually a very clever setup for the story’s unique psychological engine.

Where can I read Payback BL novel online?

10 Answers2025-08-19
Wait. Which Payback is that even? I only know of two BL stories with that title; one’s a Korean novel, most likely, set in a revenge plot, and the other’s a Chinese web novel. Where would I search for that? If it’s the Korean novel then I’d look for the raws on sites like KakaoPage or Ridibooks. As there is no official English translation available for ‘Payback’, we rely on fan efforts to translate this BL novel. I recommend checking out the Korean BL communities on Discord, as these channels are usually sorted by title and completed translations are linked. Note that most of these servers require an invite link, which can be found on the Twitter accounts of the translators or in the respective server’s descriptions. Although it may require a bit more effort, translated content on these servers is usually very well formatted and up-to-date.

Where can I read passion bl novel for free online?

Most BL authors, as well as web novel platforms, have email newsletters where they announce Freebie days, sales with special discount codes, etc. They even give away short stories as a special treat to their subscribers. I have a special folder for these newsletters on my email account, and I try to read them once a week. In them, I’ve received complete free novellas, short stories that haven’t been published yet, and even free chapters that are published before the rest of the book. It may require you to sign up for the newsletter (which some people are really opposed to), but seriously, it’s such a low barrier to entry to get this kind of stuff sent to you on a regular basis. Authors love it because it helps them build their direct audience, and you love it because you get to read free legal fiction on the web without having to seek it out. Just use a burn email or a throwaway to sign up with, is my advice.

Where can I read The Howling novel online for free?

8 Answers2025-11-28
Just buy it! Usually priced under $5 for the e-book on Amazon or Google Books, supporting the author’s estate (or whoever is holding the rights to the work at the current time) helps to ensure that work of this rare niche genre will stay in print. Yes, I understand the appeal of reading for free but for so little cost to you for the e-book, it’s worth it. The book itself is pretty straightforward and quite fun to read as a work of horror – far from satirical as the film would have you believe. It’s more personal, more brutal. Reading it online without all of the ads (some of which are quite nasty) and the risk of downloading malware from questionable websites is by itself well worth the couple of coffees that the e-book will cost you. Support your favorite genre by buying this work. (If you can’t afford to buy it, then by all means check it out from your local library — they’ve already paid for the license to this work.)
