I wish official platforms would offer a 'publication order' toggle for series with side content. Like, 'Show me only the main story chapters in sequence.' That would solve so many of these problems. For now, we have to be our own curators. For 'Jinx', just curate out anything that looks like a chibi comic or a Q&A with the author. Those are clearly not main story.

Honestly, just follow the publication dates on Lezhin's Korean site, even if you can't read it. The chapter list there is the canonical order. Any discrepancies in fan translations usually come from someone trying to insert a side story or omake in the wrong place. The main plot of 'Jinx' is pretty linear, so you shouldn't get lost if you go from Chapter 1 onward.

If you see a chapter labeled with a decimal like '18.5', that's likely a side story and can be read after the chapter it's attached to. I'd save all those for after catching up to the main story, though, to avoid breaking the narrative tension.

My approach is to lurk in the comment section of Chapter 1 on a big site. Someone will have inevitably asked, 'Is this in order?' and some kind soul will have replied with a guide or a link to a better-ordered site. The wisdom of the crowds, especially in niche BL communities, is surprisingly reliable. I've found my best reading sources that way.

I'm more concerned with content warnings than chapter order. From what I've gleaned, this isn't a fluffy BL. The dynamic is... intense. So, while you're figuring out the order, maybe also look up some spoiler-free reviews to see if the emotional ride is for you. The order won't matter if you bail after chapter five because you can't stand the main lead's attitude.

lol just read it however it comes. if you get confused, that's part of the fun. maybe the author intended for us to be as disoriented as the main character. art imitates life or whatever.

What is the correct reading order for Jinx BL chapters online?

I’ve seen PDF compilations floating around. Those are usually in correct order because the maker had to put them in order to create the PDF. Might be a more reliable option than a website with dynamic loading and ads breaking the layout. Just a thought for the desperate.

In what order should new readers follow the Jinx BL manga chapters?

Honestly, the simplest answer is to follow the official serialization. Lezhin lists them in the correct reading order. You begin with the prologue, then move to chapter 1, and continue sequentially. The artist, Mingwa, doesn't employ flashbacks or non-linear storytelling in a confusing way, so the timeline is linear. Where people get tripped up is with the extra content, like the 'After the Final' episodes or the side stories focusing on other characters. Those are clearly marked and should be saved for after you finish the main storyline. They provide closure and alternate perspectives that only make sense with the full context. So, main story in numbered order, then the bonus material.

In what order should I read the chapters of Jinx BL?

I think people ask this because some manhwa have side stories interspersed or flashback arcs that are best read in a certain order. 'Jinx' isn't really like that. The backstory is woven into the main narrative seamlessly. You'll get a flashback chapter when the story needs you to understand a character's past. Trust the flow.

What is the full reading order of the Jinx BL series

My angle is about emotional preservation. 'Jinx' is an intense, sometimes brutal, emotional rollercoaster. 'Jk5' is a different kind of pain—more melancholic and nostalgic. Reading them back-to-back in any order could be emotionally draining. Maybe take a break between them. Let the main story's ending sit with you for a week. Process that relationship. Then, when you're ready for more but in a slightly different key, dive into 'Jk5'. It prevents burnout and lets each story have its own emotional space.

How often are new Jinx BL chapters released to read for free online?

It's interesting to compare it to other BL platforms. Some release daily, some are bi-weekly, some are erratic. Manta's weekly model for its originals like 'Jinx' feels like a sweet spot. It builds anticipation without exhausting the artists. The free access tier is also more generous than some competitors who lock everything after chapter 3. You can read a significant chunk of 'Jinx' for free before hitting the rotating paywall, which is fair.

What is the correct reading order for the Jinx BL series?

It's straightforward: 'Jinx' volumes 1-?, then 'Lucky Paradise' which is the direct continuation. Think of 'Lucky Paradise' as Season 2. Anyone telling you to read them interchangeably or that order doesn't matter is doing you a disservice. The entire narrative and character psychology is sequential. You need the foundation of the toxic, transactional dynamic to fully appreciate the fraught healing process that follows.

How do I start Jinx BL from chapter 1 in the correct order?

Honestly, just type 'Jinx chapter 1' into Google and click the Lezhin link. It's that simple. The site will guide you from there. If you hit a paywall after a few episodes, that's just the reality of supporting the content. You can wait for free episodes or bite the bullet and buy a coin pack.

What is the best reading order for jinx manhwa chapters?

Reading 'Jinx' in the clearest way is honestly the most straightforward path: follow the chapter numbers in publication order, start at chapter 1 and go forward. The story is designed to unfold that way — plot beats, character reveals, and emotional payoffs land best when you experience them as the author released them. If the series has side chapters or specials that were published between main chapters, I usually read those right after the main chapter that came out before them; they often assume you know what just happened and add flavor rather than change the core plot. For bonus content like coloured specials, omakes, or short interlude comics, I save those for after the main arc or at the end of a volume. They’re great for laughs, world-building, or seeing a different art treatment, but they sometimes contain small spoilers or tonal shifts that feel sweeter once you’ve finished the chapter they reference. If volumes are available, I’ll flip through a collected volume after finishing the included chapters to catch any rearranged extras or author notes. In short: main chapters in release order, interleaved side-chapters where they originally appeared, and save art/omake pages for post-chapter or post-volume enjoyment. That method gave me the best emotional ride through 'Jinx'.

How often are new Jinx BL chapters updated for online readers?

3 Answers2026-07-25 00:51:18
I’ve learned to just enjoy the fan community during droughts. The fanart, the analyses, the ship debates—it’s all fantastic. The irregular updates keep the fandom in a perpetual state of speculation, which is weirdly fun. If chapters came out fast, we wouldn’t have time to dig this deep into the lore and character motivations.
