I haven't stumbled across an official audiobook for 'To Snap a Silver Stem' anywhere, and I'm pretty deep into the litRPG/Progression fantasy scene. Checked Audible, Scribd, and even some of the author's direct links or publisher pages. Nothing came up. Sometimes with these web serials that get later published, the audio adaptation lags way behind the ebook/print release, if it happens at all.
I did see a few threads on RoyalRoad and the author's Discord where people asked about it, and the response was basically 'not currently in the works.' Which is a bummer because the system narration and those tense cultivation breakthroughs would sound amazing with a good narrator. You might have to stick with the text for now, but who knows, maybe if the series blows up more they'll commission one.
Not that I've found. Audiobooks for web novels can be tricky unless they get a big traditional publishing deal. It's still a relatively new series, so maybe down the line. For now, I'm just reading it on Kindle.
I wish. I love audiobooks for my commute, and the blend of sci-fi and xianxia in 'To Snap a Silver Stem' seems like it'd be a perfect fit. Sadly, no dice. I searched high and low—Audible, Google Play, Apple Books, the author's Patreon updates—and there's zero mention of an audio version being planned or available. Sometimes these indie authors do crowd-funded audiobooks through sites like Kickstarter, but I haven't seen a campaign for this one. Maybe if the readership grows loud enough about it, that could change. For the moment, though, you're reading with your eyes, not your ears.
Nope, doesn't look like it. I listened to 'Beware of Chicken' and 'Cradle' on audio recently and went hunting for something similar, 'To Snap a Silver Stem' was on my list. Came up completely dry on all the usual platforms. It's a shame; the prose has a really distinctive, almost rhythmic quality during the alchemy scenes that I think would translate well. For now, it's just the web serial and the Kindle version, as far as I can tell.

Ever since I discovered 'The Silver Scream' by Ice Nine Kills, I've been obsessed with its horror-movie-inspired lyrics. The idea of an audiobook version fascinates me—imagine the narration layered with eerie sound effects! While it's not a traditional novel, some bands release 'audiobook-style' adaptations of concept albums. Sadly, I haven’t found one for this album yet, but fan-made dramatic readings might exist on platforms like YouTube or Patreon.
Alternatively, if you’re craving something similar, the band’s 'Every Trick in the Book' album adapts classic literature with theatrical flair. Maybe one day we’ll get a full-blown 'Silver Scream' audio drama—fingers crossed! For now, I’d recommend diving into horror podcasts like 'The NoSleep Podcast' to scratch that itch.
Bright thought: if you've been hunting for audio, there's good news and a few flavors to choose from. The main English unabridged audiobook of 'Enthralled By Silver' was released by Silverstar Audio and it's narrated by Maya Sinclair — she's got this warm, slightly husky tone that fits the protagonist's inner monologue so well. The production includes a short author afterword and subtle ambient score under a couple of scene transitions, which I loved because it never felt overproduced.
There's also a dramatized version that popped up later, more like a radio play with multiple voice actors and fuller sound design; it runs longer because of the extra scenes and music. If you prefer libraries, both OverDrive/Libby and Hoopla have copies depending on your region, and Audible, Apple Books, Google Play, and Libro.fm sell individual copies or include it on certain subscription tiers. The Spanish translation, 'Hechizado por la Plata', has an audiobook narrated by Diego Morales, and it's surprisingly faithful to the tone.
Personally, listening on evening walks felt perfect — the pacing and narrator choices made the world stick in my head long after I took the earbuds out.
I looked for that myself a few months back when I was on a long road trip and wanted something new to listen to. The title you mentioned, 'Snap a Silver Stem,' isn't one I've come across in the wild, honestly. It's possible it's a less mainstream or self-published title, which can make tracking down an audiobook tricky. My usual method is to start with Audible and then check if any library apps like Libby or Hoopla have it, but I didn't have any luck.
Sometimes titles get different names in audio formats or are only available through the author's personal website or a niche platform. You might want to search using the author's name if you know it, or see if there's a serialized version on a platform like Scribd. That's where I found a similar-sounding indie fantasy once.
