They cover smaller tales: a haunted house, a village curse, a djinn contract, and the events right before the Wild Hunt game. Good for fans craving more monster-hunting in between the big novels. The art's consistently the best part.

Honestly, I was a bit let down by some of them. They look gorgeous—the art in 'Fox Children' is moody and perfect—but the stories can feel thin, like filler episodes from the games. 'House of Glass' is the strongest because it has a tight, self-contained plot. The others, like 'Of Flesh and Flame', kind of meander. They're fine for lore completionists, but if you're new to the Witcher, stick to the short story collections like 'The Last Wish' first.

From a pure reading order perspective, they're all standalone, so dive in anywhere. 'The Dark Horse' collections group them chronologically by release. Volume 1 has 'House of Glass' and 'Fox Children'. Volume 2 collects 'Of Flesh and Flame' and 'Killing Monsters'. There's also 'Witcher: Ronin', a cool, totally separate samurai-inspired take that's not canon but has stunning art. The library binding on these is solid, and they often go on sale digitally on Comixology.

The graphic novels wander off from Sapkowski's main saga, focusing on smaller adventures for Geralt, which I found a nice change from the high-stakes politics. The 'House of Glass' arc is a good starting point—it's a standalone mystery in a creepy manor that feels like a classic Witcher contract, complete with moral ambiguity and a monster that isn't what it seems. Then you have the 'Fox Children' arc, which involves a cursed village and a vengeful spirit; it leans hard into Slavic folklore, which is the series' strength.
Other arcs like 'Of Flesh and Flame' involve Geralt traveling through a desert and dealing with a djinn, which again ties back to his personal history with Yennefer. The 'Killing Monsters' album is basically an extended prequel to the third game, showing the lead-up to the Temerian coup. I'd say they're best for fans who just want more time in that world, solving monster problems without the epic weight of the books.

The Moon Goddess may have written the rules, but these she-wolves are tearing them apart.
In this sweeping five-book saga, the Lycanthrope species—creatures of power beyond mortal imagination—dare to defy destiny itself. Mate bonds ignite passion and peril, but every she-wolf knows love can be a weapon as much as a gift. Tradition demands obedience. They choose rebellion.
It begins with Ana, a Hybrid caught between worlds, whose collision with Romani, the ruthless Lycan Crown Prince, sparks a bond that could either save her—or destroy her. His dominance threatens to consume her, yet Ana refuses to bow. Every choice she makes twists the Goddess’s plan tighter, until fate itself trembles.
From Ana’s defiance to the cunning of wolves who wield mate bonds like blades, each book unveils a battle where freedom clashes with love, rebellion with tradition, and power with vulnerability. The Goddess watches. The wolves fight back. And destiny will bleed before it breaks.
This is not a tale of wolves who obey.
This is the saga of wolves who refuse to surrender…
