Twin Moon
That power in my hands was intoxicating.
I turned my gaze back to the village. The pickings in the clearing were slim, with everyone still in their little houses. The barn. I could take care of Doyle and his pack of abominations. At least it would get them off the playing field for when the real fight starts. That’s it then. I nodded my head with conviction and strutted off around the house towards the clearing. As I came around the side of the building, before I reached the last corner, a figure appeared in front of me. I didn’t wait to examine who the person was or to give them the time to call for help. I swung my arm out, slicing the tip of the hatchet across the person's chest. He screamed and stepped back, but quickly tripped over his own feet. His ass hit the ground as his hands went to the gaping wound on his chest. He opened his mouth to scream again, and I swiftly embedded the hatchet in the top of his head, cutting off any alarm he was about to raise. His eyes did a weird cross-eyed thing that drew a giggle from my lips. I grabbed his shoulder and pulled the axe from his skull. W
iping the blood off using his shirt, I then let him drop into the dirt like the bag of shit that he is. Hiding in the shadows was over now. I am going to march right through the heart of the village and take out anyone that gets in my way. I tossed the hatchet once again and marched in the direction of the barn.
