CHASING HIS BARREN EX WIFE
“She draws these tiny animals everywhere, on the walls, her shoes, even the tablecloth once. Kaiden wasn’t happy, but I told him we should just keep it. It looked too cute to wash off.”
“That sounds like something you would’ve done,” Grandma teased, her eyes glinting.
I leaned back a little, smiling. “Maybe. She loves asking questions, too. ‘Why do clouds move? Why don’t dogs talk? Why can’t I have chocolate for breakfast?’”
Grandma chuckled softly. “I can hear her saying that.”
“I told her chocolate for breakfast is illegal,” I said, laughing under my breath. “She told me that was a dumb rule.”
“That’s my girl,” Grandma said proudly.
