Bite my Tongue

My voice has abandoned me.
His eyes search my face. The sharp lines of his jaw are illuminated by the dim city light filtering through the windows. His lashes are long and dark, casting shadows on his cheekbones. The vein in his neck pulses visibly, and I can smell him—God, I can smell him so clearly now, without the suppressants dulling everything. It is intoxicating. It is terrifying.
"You want me to keep going?" he asks.
I nod again.
"Use your words, Arielle."
