I glanced at my phone, the footage showing Emilia making the dog “dance” on its hind legs while she talked to it like it actually understood, before tucking it back into my pocket. “I thought that dude was dead!” Theo snickered, and I couldn’t help but laugh as we pulled into the hotel and saw Dimitri Volkov standing outside, waiting for us with two of his men.
