*** When I woke up, Johan was sitting on the edge of the bed, shirtless and smoking. He heard me move and looked back. A check landed on the bed in front of me. I stared at it. He only said a few words. "I'm bored with you." Something inside me cracked. Like porcelain shattering, sharp pieces cut across my heart. Still, my voice came out calm. I even smiled. "I've got less than three months left. Couldn't you wait a little longer?" Johan frowned. "Yara Yelton, you should know your place."

Plenty of it, it spread over the grounds beneath the broken swing set. His teeth were chattering as he continued to stare, unable to break his face away from the horrific scene so that it kept tattooing and re-tattooing in his head, it was like an hypnosis session gone wonky. Tears gushed freely from his eyes like a broken tap as he started on. At the centre of all the blood were the jagged, broken metal pieces of the third swing. He tried to open his mouth to ask what had happened, who had died. . .but his vocal cords didn't seem to be in connection with his brain anymore. His saliva-drained mouth opened and shut wordlessly.

Rosemary’s Pov “I will eat later…” I say softly , offering him a smile. He exchanges a look with Xavier , but I do not stay for the lectures that I know is coming. Instead I walk to the entrance and sit on the floor in a crossed legged position – my eyes fixated on the fiery red flames that almost touches the sky. I sit out there for a while , enjoying the peace of being alone. At this moment , all I ever want is to be alone. I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom.

I got shot four times, bled out on the chapel steps. Second—some rogue truck crushed my car. Snapped my hand to pieces. Third—our hotel exploded. I was trapped in that fire for three brutal hours. She reached out, fingers grazing the wreckage on my arm. Then she gave this slow, heavy nod. "Your parents trusted us with you when they died... And this is how Lorenzo repays them. We didn't just fail you—we failed everything your family stood for." My nose burned. I swallowed the lump in my throat.

Third person Sam had morning classes, so she left home for school very early in the morning. She was very happy and positive Rajveer would choose their mum over his wife. She emerged from the class after lecture with her friend, Malika. "Wow Sam! You did great, but if I were you, I would have done worse," Malika commented, after Sam had narrated everything she did to Roshni to her. Malika and Sam had been friends since their first year and they were obviously birds of the same feathers.

Third person pov The warehouse was silent except for the steady hum of the fluorescent lights above cold, blue, and merciless. The air smelled of steel and oil, the faint echo of a life built on revenge rather than purpose. Elijah pushed open the heavy metal door and walked in, the soles of his boots crunching on scattered glass. His face was blank, but his eyes were burning. “Our old man just told his wife and the Fisher boy about us,” he said, his voice sharp and tired. “He feels like we exist.”

Third Person POV At the restaurant, Gordon’s rage tore through the air like a storm. Glass shattered against the wall, chairs splintered as he hurled them across the room. The staff shrank back, their faces pale, watching him unravel in furious disbelief. "Who the fuck was that?" Gordon roared, his voice echoing through the lavish but now disordered space. His chest heaved, tie hanging loose around his neck. No one dared to answer. "I asked you a question!" he barked, spinning on the trembling staff who lined up before him. "Who was the bastard that dared to lay hands on me and steal Katherine right out from under my nose?"

3rd Person Nina’s heart sunk as she watched Ethan and Jane race out the door as their wolves, and she stepped forward to close the door out of mere reflex. When the panel clicked shut she found herself staring blankly at the dark wood, momentarily frozen in time. She couldn’t think, she couldn’t feel, she could only stand there and exist as this latest slight reverberated through her body. Only the sound of a small voice saying her name woke her from her miserable reverie, “Nina?”

Third Person's POV It's so dark. Why didn't they turn the lights on this time? The pain is unbearable, and he screams as they break his leg. It's been too long since he's eaten or drank anything; his scream comes out broken and airy. Red hot pain shoots through his body as they sink their fangs into his skin and forcefully drink what little blood he has left. He feels his body become even weaker as they drink what little life he has left. Somehow, he knows this time this is it; they'll go too far, and he'll never see her again. A tear rolls down his face, and he screams one last scream for her, screaming her name, “EVELYN!” Nadja screamed as he sat up, gasping for air as he reached for her.

Third Person POV Jon Nolan sat in his armchair, the glow of the television flickering across his lined face. The mug of tea on the side table had gone lukewarm, his glasses slipping lower on his nose. Outside, Essex was quiet under a cold winter evening, the kind of night that hummed with chirping crickets and the whispering of the wind. A neighbor's dog started to bark, and before he could read any meaning about it, his front door exploded inward.
