“Little dragon, you smell so good! Your blood is the best thing I've ever tasted! It calls to me like a siren’s song.” Ezra said before running his tongue along the Omega’s neck. The Omega’s back arched, and he gripped Ezra tighter while sucking a breath in. “You don't know how badly I want more of you—your blood, your cries of pleasure, your all!” Ezra said, and the Omega whimpered as he pulled the king closer. ~ Werewolves, Vampires, Dragons, Kings, and mates in an Omegaverse world. In a small part of Michigan it’s a world filled with love and understanding, equality; a safe haven. A world where mates are loved and cherished, no matter their rank or species. But in this world of love, there is also darkness, extreme darkness, for not everyone is good. True evil exists outside these packs. It's hell on Earth for those unfortunate souls caught in their world. Two kings were born from the same parents but destined to rule different species. The Alpha King and the Vampire King's bloodlines run through the two brothers. Grayson, a werewolf-vampire hybrid, is the next-in-line Alpha King, and his brother Ezra, a full-blooded Vampire, is the next Vampire King. Both Kings seem to be fighting an endless battle of corruption among their kind. Together, they fight to find someone who is like family to them: Nadja, the ancient vampire Elder who was taken ten years ago. As they search for Nadja, they find so much more. Love, broken souls, an enemy bigger than they imagined, and a power within themselves greater than any King before are all at work as the two kings search for the lost elder.

The king raised an eyebrow as he watched Vincent stroll around his desk like he owned the place. He was even more shocked when Vincent pushed his arm off of the armrest of his chair, sat down on it, and swung his arm around him. Ezra's mouth hung open, but Vincent closed it with his fingers before grabbing the mouse, moving it, and clicking the screen a few times before finding what he was looking for. “Voila! There it is!” Vincent said as he pointed at the screen.“There you go, big guy,” He said, roughing his knuckles against the King's shoulders as if they were best friends.Ezra slapped his hand away before shoving him off his chair. “Will you get out of here!” Ezra said as he tugged down on his shirt and fixed it. “Hey! Is that any way to talk to someone who just helped you? Where's my thank you?”“My thank you is going to be my foot up your ass if you keep it up!” Ezra said
Third Person's POV The Beta carefully studies the board, looking at all of his enemies' pieces. Each move is critical. One wrong move, and he's dead. His jaw clenches, and his fist tightens as he tries to decide the best to move. The Beta makes his choice, and he's certain it's the right one. It will bring him just out of the enemy's reach, so he makes his move.A smirk rests on the Beta's face as he sits back, satisfied with his move. His eyes snapped to his enemy, who snorted before laughing. Coal looked at the board, trying to figure out what he was laughing about. His eyes narrow, watching the guard make his move. The Beta's mouth hangs open when he's put in check. He forgot about the stupid night. He took everything into consideration but the damn night! “You're falling asleep over there, Alpha!” Maverick teases, and Coal glares at him. The Beta with Alpha blood was ready to reach through the bars and smack Maverick. He was tempted to throw the board down the hall and burn every
Third Person's POV Grayson had just finished cleaning his body, but the hot water felt too good to step out just yet. He lays his head back and lets the hot water beat down against his chest as he goes over the events from 17 hours ago. It was a long drive. Even without stopping to sit down and eat, only grabbing fast food to eat in the car once at lunchtime, and refueling when needed, it still took 12 and 1/2 hours to get there and 12 and 1/2 hours back. Everything about the trip there and the attack was last minute, so there was not a lot of extra time. They arrived just outside of Ella's pack around 5:30 p.m., allowing them to sleep in wolf form outside their vehicles for 2 hours. When they woke up, they had just enough time to eat and go over the attack one final time before heading to Ella's pack and surrounding it. The attack itself was quite easy. They never saw it coming. With a pack of just over 850 people, Grayson and his 400 warriors quickly secured the pack, but that wa
Third Person's POV Sebastian didn't understand why Grayson had to leave so soon after his heat was over. No matter how many times his mate told him it was important and he would be back as soon as possible, it still hurt. It was his first heat. The first time he was so vulnerable in front of his mate, just to have him leave the very day after it was over. It made the Delta feel like he did something wrong. It was a knife to his heart, but he hid his heartbreak. He tried hiding in his room, but his new best friend wouldn't let him. His brother-in-law was knocking at his door only a few hours after Grayson left. Kyle kept him company all day and even spent the night. They camped out in the living room, eating junk food and watching movies until they fell asleep. He was thankful for Kyle. He wasn't sure how he would have gotten through the night without Grayson alone.Unfortunately, once morning came, Kyle had to go to work. That left Sebastian with nothing to do. The daycare didn't need
Third Person's POV Her beautiful scent surrounds him as she lies back against his chest. She rests just off center to his left, with his left arm draped over her shoulder. She holds his hand as it hangs over her shoulder, playing with his fingers as they lazily watch TV. The room lies in disarray; nearly everything is broken. It looks like there was an invader, or they were attacked. There must have been a wild fight. A fight to the death, perhaps. But no… there was no fight to the death, no fight at all… at least, not that kind of fight. The scent of sex still lingers in the air strongly, as if they just had sex. They may not have just finished their first round, but it was their final round for now. Nadja's eyes roam the room, assessing the damage. His lips curl up in amusement when he realizes the destruction they left their room in. The only thing left standing untouched is the TV, and that's because it's mounted to the wall. Not even the bed is intact anymore. It rests at an a
I want to clear up a small confusion with knots. I had two people think my characters having knots is new to the series with the last chapter, and that's not true.Dominant males having a knot has been in my series since book one. I don't recall if I mentioned Thaddeus's knot, but I definitely mentioned Michael's on several occasions. Noah whimpered because it hurt when it tugged on him each time Michael moved. Also, there is a chapter where Asher accidentally knots Michael. I believe that is in the book River Pack. It shocked both Alphas since a dominant mate doesn't normally knot another dominant mate.Knots are NOT strictly an Alpha thing, either. It's any dominant male when their mate is in heat. If their mate is not in heat, their knot will not bloom. I can't remember every instance, but I do have this one that wasn't an Alpha. In Harris's book, chapter 79, Brian is a dominant Beta, and he knotted his Omega, River when he went into heat.Another knotting instance was in Claudius
