Betrayal Between the vows

Betrayal Between the vows

Elias whispered. “You came back when it mattered.” They fell asleep like that. Not in fear. Not in shame. But in the calm that comes after a long storm. Because the rain had fallen. But somehow they stayed dry.

Beautiful Betrayal

Beautiful Betrayal

Heavy sadness pressing down so hard on my chest it almost hurt to breathe. The first betrayal destroyed me. Skylar ripped my heart apart and left me bleeding. But this second betrayal? This one did not make me cry. It made me numb. Like something inside me had finally gone cold. “Why did you poison me?” I asked softly. My voice shook slightly this time. “Why did you want to hurt me and my baby?” That was the part I could not understand. Not the hatred. Not the lies. Not even the betrayal. But my child.

Avalanche of Betrayal

Avalanche of Betrayal

"She's throwing another tantrum, isn't she? She did the same thing last time—took off the monitor just to threaten me. Unbelievable. Even with lives on the line, she still plays games like this. "Go. Find her. Bring her in and draw the blood. I don't care how you do it. Even if she tries to use that bastard child in her belly to bargain, ignore her." At the word "bastard," my soul—already detached from my body—wavered. My nails dug deep into my ghostly palms as I watched him, face tense with irritation, giving out orders. Not a trace of sorrow. Not even a flicker of regret. I closed my eyes. Tears slid silently down my cheeks.

Trapped in the Storm

Trapped in the Storm

Storm Without saying a word, he walked towards me, watching me carefully as he slowly made his way towards me. I watched him warily, wanting to run for my life but determined to stand my ground. The look in his eyes told me he was aware of my internal battle. He walked up to me and took me into his arms, holding me against him. I stood there frozen in his arms, my body shaking from cold and fear. After a while I rested my head on his chest, seeking the warmth of his embrace and finding an odd sense of comfort in the sound of his heartbeat. After a moment of debating with myself on whether I should reciprocate. I wrapped my arms around him holding him. A foreign feeling of safety and security

Loved this book! Wonderful suspense not knowing which way things were turning at times. Only thing I didn't like at times were the POV chapters you pay for that repeated everything from the previous chapter with a couple added thoughts, but some chapters being below the normal price made up for it.

This is truly one of the greatest stories. No gratuitous sex scenes which is s fantastic thing. You are getting to know the characters and their is a plot. You have even left things open to continue on to another book! I hope this continues!

Claiming the Moon

Claiming the Moon

~STORM "You being a traitor to this pack is also something I despise. I don't believe in betrayal, and even after all my love, that was the only thing you could throw at me." I spat and walked up to her. I had the urge to throw a punch at her but I did everything I could to protect myself. "How dare you betray a full pack?" I questioned. "I didn't betray you or this honorable pack. My slate is so clean." She replied to me with tears all over her eyes. An outsider could definitely misunderstand us and accuse us of mistreatment.

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

It had carried an omen. Maelis Rowan appeared at the edge of the camp, his eyes wide with visions that haunted him still. His voice shook as he spoke, but it carried the weight of prophecy. “The storm was not merely weather,” he said. “It was warning. Blood yet to be spilled. Sorrows yet to fall. And in the heart of it all—one betrayal still to come.” Serenya’s grip on her sword tightened. She thought of Thalric, yes. But she also thought of those closest to her. Betrayal had not yet finished its work.

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

THE LUNA’S ASCENSION

The words of the ancient scroll still burn in my memory: “The storm that gathers will not be of nature’s making but of blood and betrayal. The moon shall weep, and only the purest heart can withstand the coming tide.” I closed the scroll, my fingers trembling slightly. Everything we had learned so far—the deception, the manipulation of the prophecy, the plans of the deity and the new enemy—had been leading up to this. A storm was coming, a battle that would determine the fate of not just our world, but all worlds touched by the deity’s influence. We had so little time to prepare. I looked around at my allies, all of them wearing the same expression of grim realization. Draven’s eyes met mine
