The Hidden King
"Yes, my mother taught me. She used to draw words and letters in the sand when I was younger. I had not seen a book until now, though. Mother often said the leaves were delicate and would tear apart in water. There were times when she said books were like life. Sometimes it took on a drop of disaster to tear our lives apart."
"Hmmm, your mom seems nice." Strong fingers flipped through the pages. "Still, out of all the books in Marv's collection, you had to read his bio book?"
The cover seemed interesting. Besides, it was the only book sitting on the table. I thought the prince wouldn't mind my intrusion. But, more books would be fun.
"Are there any other books more interesting?" I asked.
