The Billionaire Bride of Destiny

The Billionaire Bride of Destiny

Lewis's checkroom to sort out her dress and jewels. While arranging her gown, Cathy could not help thinking of Mrs. Lanyon, whom old Mrs. Lewis had just mentioned, and suddenly a little envy rose in her for that Mrs.Lanyon, whom she had never known, of rich birth, of a good family, of a loving couple, and of a child. When Cathy thought of a baby, she thought of the fact that she had been married for three years and had not yet gotten pregnant, and a longing suddenly arose in her heart to have a baby that looked like Kevin.

The Glass Signal

The Glass Signal

Julian Myles stared at the cursor on his laptop screen like it was a loaded gun. Blink. Blink. Blink. The article was almost done. All he had to do was press publish. And potentially bring down half the city. Outside his apartment window, the glow of downtown cast soft halos around the smog-heavy sky. It was nearly 3:00 a.m., but the noise of the world didn’t stop anymore. Not in New Carthage. Not when half the population was too wired into their devices to remember how to sleep.

His Human Second Chance Mate

His Human Second Chance Mate

I demanded, rising slowly to my feet. Cathy scoffed. “Why are you asking me? Maybe your little temper finally got out of control.” “I didn’t do this.” “Really?” Her gaze slid toward the claw marks on the wall pointedly. “Because it certainly looks animal enough.” Anger flickered sharply in my chest. “I just got back.” “And yet destruction follows you everywhere.” Cathy stepped further into the room now, heels clicking against broken glass. “Honestly, I’m tired of pretending otherwise. Since the moment you arrived here, all you’ve brought is chaos.”

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

In the center of the room, Christina Wilder was sitting in a wingback chair, reading a book titled 'Chapter 174. She looked up at Nora, her expression one of mild, professional amusement. "They're safe, Nora," Christina said, nodding toward a small door at the back of the library. "I’ve put them in the 'Special Collections' section. But the Algorithm is still looking for a Lead Character to blame for the system crash." Christina stood up and handed Nora a final, heavy pen. It wasn't obsidian, and it wasn't red. It was Clear Glass, filled with a swirling, iridescent liquid.

Shhh Daddy won’t Know

Shhh Daddy won’t Know

The air in the foyer of the Glass House didn’t just feel cold; it felt ancient. It was as if the return of Claire Vance had brought back a draft from twenty years ago, a chill that no amount of industrial heating or high-end architectural insulation could mask. She stood at the base of the grand staircase, her black silk gown pooling around her feet like a shadow. To the world, she was a tragedy a woman whose car had tumbled over a cliff two decades ago, leaving behind a shattered husband and a motherless child. To Elena, she was a nightmare that had suddenly found flesh.

The Glass Rose

The Glass Rose

Nico replied as a massive explosion rocked the floor beneath us and the windows shattered into a thousand pieces of glass. I looked at the Black Ledger sitting on the nightstand and I felt a cold surge of adrenaline because the calm was finally over and the storm had arrived, and I knew that the Widow had made her final move and now it was our turn to show her exactly what happens when you try to cage a Moretti.

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

She moved her fingers to every book in the shelves but stopped as her eyes were stuck with something. "What?! This book," Kathy exclaimed as she picked one of the books and examined it. "How come it's here? Is Aaron fond of reading fiction and contemporary romance? How come?" Kathy inquired as she couldn't understand that the bad - to - the - bone devil will read such kind of novels. It's not realistic to think about.

M.Z. Mauve
pretty good start. enough descriptive imagery. the blurb was okay. seems like there's enough conflict to keep the story interesting. the blurb needs some proofreading, as well as the first chapters (typos, tense consistency issues, punctuation, etc.). overall, nice work
krushandkill
The synopsis hints that this story has more in it than it seems. The chapters need some editing, but nothing that damages the story as it is right now. The ML is easily hated, but I bet there is more about him than the first chapters shows.

Prince Lawrence also asked. Cathy looked at Roxie, and their eyes met. Oh, right," Cathy said, putting down the black book they got from the library. "This is what we got from the library with the help of the librarian. When we heard that it was about rogues, we were somewhat distant about it. But somehow, when we read it, Roxie started to tremble in fear." Cathy looked at Caisen. "Luckily, you came at the right time. I feel like something bad is going to happen at those times."
