I think everyone has completely forgotten I'm here, because Ana goes to do something to her hair next to her dad, Celeste has disappeared and Chloe is getting her makeup worked on. And I'm just sitting in silence, absorbing this. I mean, a single father with three daughters is the complete opposite to my family (single mother, one son) and is really interesting to watch. Sarah retorted coolly. She knew dealing with someone like Charlie required a firm hand. He was all about money, and without his factory job, he was nothing. Predictably, Charlie cowered at her threat, quickly apologizing. "Miss Sanders, I was wrong about last night. But let me tell you, Zach is a great guy, a real man from the city. "But he does not want to lend it to his own daughter." I gasped loudly. "I never knew that Charlie Langston was too self-centered." "Oh, he is self-centered." She laughed. "But he is not usually selfish. He just..." She trailed off for a moment as she stares at her husband right across the room. "He just has this weird obsession in regard to that area of his past." I felt my eyes widened and my jaw dropped. "He has a what?" She blows out a deep breath and chuckle a little bit. "I know. I heard from Chloe that Reed has that weird personality. But you know, except his would be the chicken suit."
