He finally wraps the collar around my neck, buckling it tight. It rests at the base of my throat like a secret only we share. I run my fingers over it, dazed by how right it feels.

Now, silence lived in the corners of the house. Mark came down late that morning, already dressed, tie knotted tight, jacket folded neatly over his arm. He kissed her on the cheek, and she noticed it faint but unmistakable a scent that didn’t belong to her. It was floral, sharp, and expensive. Jasmine, maybe. Clara’s perfume was sandalwood and bergamot earthy, restrained. This was something younger, brighter. “Morning,” he said, brushing past her to pour coffee. “Morning,” she echoed.

I unbuttoned his white shirt, kissing his shoulders, then his collarbone. I couldn't help but multitask, my restless hands moving to his left chest. He didn't tremble like before, proving he accepted it. My hand began to gently massage his chest and followed by the kisses. His breathing grew more urgent, and his bony frame became evident with each deep breath, his ribs rising and falling prominently. Noticing this, I knew it was time to cherish those ribs. I kissed his ribs a few times, acknowledging their effort, before moving to his chest.

He pressed her lips again with her, passionately kissing those pretty lips, wanting to bruise them, mark them as his. A small whine slips out from my throat as Brye kisses me again. I was out of breath and I wanted him so much. He kisses me again, his tongue joining the session and adding to the pleasure. His lips trailed down to my neck, peppering small kisses on the length of it, lightly biting on it. I let out a string of whines and small moans, releasing a pleasured sigh. He plays around with my collar and my neck before Brye returns to my lips. He released it with a light bite on the inner part of it.
