Reid's POV After leaving the cell, I couldn't face my mate. I know Eric was an evil man. I know he's done horrible things to my mate.... But this is just something I've never done before. I feel more like I'm one of them now. I feel like I'm the monster now. I feel disgusting, my skin feels like it's crawling, like I need to crawl out of it and hide. I head straight to my office, needing to be alone, and needing a shower. I'm so thankful I had that bathroom put in.

“You have just physically assualted me, then you kidnapped me and imprisoned me here. As soon as I get out of here, I will have you arrested.” Reid leans back straight and glares at him right in the eye, “Do you think I brought you here without thinking of the consequences? If you want to leave here, you will play by my rules or as my man said, you’ll leave here unable to walk, and unable to talk or write. You’d become a mystery that will never be solved and you’ll lose everything you love so much, including that Cecelia who sucks men’s dicks for your money.” Daniel leans in, shocked and eyes wide, unable to make a coherent statement.

Blood drizzled from my mouth, staining my lips red. “I didn’t hurt the child.” “You’re really insane,” she remarked, shock flashing across her face. She was clearly fazed by how fierce I had just been. I could have snapped her neck if I hadn’t held myself back. That anger—that outburst—had begun the night I accepted Raid in. I must be siphoning it from him. “A crazy bitch mated to a psychopath alpha,” she muttered. “The world really does need his help.” “His help?” I scoffed as I pulled out a photograph of Cynthia's corpse.

Pretty sure I broke his nose and probably knocked out a few of his teeth, too. No one can talk about my girl like that and get away with it.”

He can’t hurt you anymore.” I blink my eyes open, peering up into Reid’s again. “As long as he’s still out there, I don’t think I’ll ever fully feel safe,” I admit. “Then we’ll get him,” Reid states, not missing a beat. “Put an end to your nightmares once and for all.” In his eyes, I can see he means it. He truly thinks he can vanquish my monsters for me.

Reid's chuckle resonated through the room, mingling with Ariella's silvery laughter. "Yes, my dear, this will break her. This will shatter the very foundations of their little group." Ariella's gaze swept across the captives, her expression ravenous. "And the best part? Claudine will never forgive herself for choosing. The guilt will consume her, and with it, her will to resist." Reid's eyes sparkled with delight. "Exactly. Now, Claudine, choose. Who will live, and who will die?" Reid's gaze swept across the captives, his smile twisting with sadistic pleasure. "Who should I kill first?" he mused, his voice dripping with malice. His eyes lingered on each face, savoring their terror.

Sharp perfume, sharper eyes. “Heartless. Wicked,” she hissed. “Absolutely unhinged. Have you lost your mind?” “I…she….” “You’ve been acting crazy,” she cut me off. “After all, Damian finally brought someone Amara can call mother, and you nearly killed your own child. Do you even understand what’s happening to you?” I froze. The words from the hospital echoed in my head: Cognitive Identity Regression Disorder. They said I forget myself, lose control. But never not my daughter. Never her.

Reid moved forward, reaching the front of the entrance door before he noticed the dripping of blood from the roof. He turned around and then saw Ezra looking up at the sky, he knew... Oh, he knew yet he walked toward Ezra and then looked up as well. There, he saw Gabriel's lifeless body chained to the roof in the pool of his blood. There was something else about Alexander’s personality that very few people knew. He was psychotic, whenever he was angry or Victor or Ezra or Reid, yes whenever any one of the four was angry, Reid's psychotic behavior erupts and he destroys anything or anyone.

A whimper leaves my lips as pain shoots through my entire scalp. “Those damn Lycan kings are pissing me off. Sincerely, all I wanted was to use your blood for the ritual and probably keep a few gallons of it along with your eggs so I could make more omegas like you, then I would let you go. But those men have gone completely mad; they have already started spreading rumors about the council and making us look like the bad guys,” Reid rants, and I give him a questioning look. But he is the bad guy. What he says next has all the blood draining from my veins. “So, I suppose I am just going to have to kill you.”
