AMELIA BLACK's POV: "Yeah. By the way guess who we are meeting next week!" I whisper yelled. Bella raises eyebrow in question, asking me to explain. "I asked Vincenzo to let us meet Dante since they are allies with the Spanish mafia and he agreed. We gonna meet him next week, and thankfully he didn't question on how I know him." I say excited. "Thats great news! But what's going on between you and Vincenzo?" She smirks looking at me.

After a meeting was held between the top officials of the two countries, they decided to fight to their death. Yesterday, the ancient martial arts world, Dragun Squad, Klock, and the major Demigods joined forces to fight Apophis in a duel at Mount Rospids.

"Daddy will keep you safe." As he started to say the magic words that would take her to safety, an arrow flew past his ear and struck the wall behind him. He had hardly any time to react when another arrow hit him right in the chest. The sharp pain shot through his body like a lightning bolt, making him stagger backward. Draven felt blood oozing from the wound. He fell to his knees but refused to give up. With every bit of strength he had left in him, he kept saying the spell, even though his voice was getting weaker with each word he spoke.

Blinking she felt a tear drop and she quickly wiped her face and turned to the window. “Even the Dinosaurs met their demise. There are no fresh starts without bitter ends. There is beauty in the darkness as well, you’re proof of that.” The car came to a stop in front of one of the tallest brick buildings in the city. Drake opened his own door, again at the surprise of slender man. He walked around to Ally’s door and stood patiently as Ally took in the building. His building, now hers as well. Of course he lives in a place like this. What were you expecting a dark cave, with bats, goblins and demons cowering over fire pits?

“Because what is life, if not the struggle to maintain balance… together.” A murmur went through the crowd. Together. I already hated that word. Before I could process, Hoodie Guy turned to me with that irritatingly calm smile. “Guess that means we’re partners again.” I blinked. “Who said I agreed to that?” He shrugged. “You didn’t have to. The universe seems to enjoy pairing us up.” I rolled my eyes but didn’t argue. The truth was, I didn’t know anyone else here. And as much as I hated to admit it, I’d rather cross a death bridge with someone who at least doesn’t want me dead.
