"I hope there's a phone store around here" I said to myself thankful that I still had my laptop and prayed that it doesn't explode either, and thankfully it doesn't. I looked up on my laptop to see where the nearest phone store was, the closest one was in human territory. And I definitely was not about to go all the way there just for a phone. So I decided to just order one online . After I paid for it the email told me it would be here in 2 days. I still have my laptop so that was a problem for me to do work on, but not having to call someone that might be a problem. With that I've decided to send my sisters an email just in case they want to get

I ask her with a grin. "You have that Look on your face" she explains. "What look" "The Look you get when you're about to buy me something" She sighs. I can't help but chuckle as I nod my head. "Glad you're starting to recognise it" I give her a kiss on the forehead. "I'll get you the one with the most memory" I tell her. Before she can interject I walk my way over to the counter and purchase the most upmarket model they have. It can apparently hold over 20,000 books, that should keep Amelia satisfied for a year or two.

I think I would be okay even if I don't eat, as long as I can buy a book. I immediately went to the classic books section. These books are expensive because there are only a few copies left of them... I bit my lower lip and immediately took the book The Catcher in the Rye. I've wanted to buy this for a long time. I've already read it in an ebook. But I still want a physical copy. I looked at Luca and showed him the book. "Let's pay for it now." Luca's forehead creased. "Is that all you want?"

Focusing on the image of unity, of working together, Evie held the book out towards the guardian. The creature's gaze fixated on the book, its red eyes flickering with curiosity. A low rumble emanated from its throat as the images from the book seemed to bleed into its own consciousness. It tilted its head, a gesture that could be interpreted as understanding. Emboldened, Evie flipped through the pages, focusing on different emotions – trust, strength, purpose. With each image, the bond between them seemed to strengthen. The guardian's initial apprehension gave way to a sense of tentative acceptance.
