One Million Reais

One Million Reais

I took the carpet and some clothes from yesterday and asked, "Hey, I'm going to dry clean. Do you have some clothes to wash?" "When did you become a clean freak?" "I'm leaving. Do you have clothes or not?" "Hold on." He gave me some clothes and asked, "Why do you have the carpet…" "I have to go to the library after this. I'll go." I rushed out of the room and came to the nearby laundromat. After dumping the clothes, I held the carpet and saw the blood stains thinking about how to get rid of this. Will it go if I wash it in the washing machine? While I was staring at it, an old woman who was sitting near me said, "Use hydrogen peroxide containing detergent to remove the stain."

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Eliza hums, “Maybe I should just get a tumble dryer, it would save on some of this.” She sighs, but they manage to get everything hung up to dry. “It’s not like I can’t afford it, and there are three people living here now, so a lot more laundry.” She pulls out her phone and brings up an electrical goods store website and scrolls through the options leaning against the kitchen counter. Kai grins, and finishes up by putting the leftovers in the fridge for later. “Right done. It’ll be here tomorrow.” Kai smirks,

I wish it were you

Naturally, no place to hang laundry. So how could he keep her clothes from ending up on the same rack as that guy’s? Maybe buy her a dryer? That way, her more private clothes wouldn’t have to be hung outside. Wash, dry, fold—done. He just wasn’t sure how much a dryer would cost. Marvin had zero concept of appliance prices. He pulled out his phone and searched. Ignored all the brands he’d never heard of and glanced over the familiar ones—and nearly blacked out. ¥7999?! Robbery! Just to dry clothes?!

Alpha Blake

Alpha Blake

She laughs throwing her head back and nodding while she drains his shirt, twisting it with her hands. "You know what? Fucking Screw this shit!....he wants clean laundry? he'll have clean laundry!" I get up, grabbing all the clothes we had already finished, and ball everything up together in a big mountain pile. I grab the bottle of bleach and pour the whole liquid on top of his clothes. Mind I say most of his clothes are either business suits, or dark-colored, but mainly, business attire. I drain every ounce of that bottle and let it sit for a few minutes, before I rinse, and hang it to dry. Now, to wait for his reaction!

Loved the story! It was a bit patchy in its flow though I understand with the flashbacks and all it can be tricky! What bothered me most however was that the book was not edited well. It had a lot of spelling and grammatical mistakes! If the book is complete I suggest that the author proof & edit it

When I read the teaser for this book I was not iterested. Honestly I thought ok so she must join another pack as slave, or whatever. Blah.blah.blah. I was sooo wrong. This book kept me on my toes and surprised me around every corner. Nothing I thought would happen did. I just couldnt put it down.

The Rogue Kings I

The Rogue Kings I

Once there was nothing but the wood, I picked up the laundry and headed down stairs. The laundry closet was next to the door that headed down into our gym. It was an laundromat sized washer and dryer, since we did sometimes have table clothes, napkins, and the drapes from the bar but it helped being able to wash huge loads of normal laundry as well. Shoving the towels and bedding into the washer, I started to strip down as well. My shirt, covered in red. My pants, covered in red. They all needed to go. Once shoved in, I turned on the washer after filling it with soap. Watching the water fill for a minute, I stared at it. My mind still completely blank. Only feeling the slight chill down here

This story pulled at every frickin string of emotion. I had started questioning myself if I could make or come to terms with those same decisions. Tbh, I am still unsure. The author had done amazing job writing this extremely thought provoking story! I can't wait for what book 2 will bring!

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Out of My Way, I'm Becoming a Billionaire

Her face suddenly turned red, and her heart inexplicably started pounding. Oh, no. She had miscalculated again... “I… I'll go wash the clothes first.” Due to the geographical location and limited sewage pipes in the village, coupled with being the most backward village in Blackath City, not every household here had a washing machine. The village head had built a laundry room next to the supermarket, funded by the village, equipped with twenty washing machines for the villagers to use. The fees were cheap each time and were within the villagers' affordable range, so there would often be queues at the laundry room.
