On the way back to the car, two kids I recognize from her wedding picture run right into her legs as their mother squeezes and kisses her! After we leave what is apparently a hotel Spencer converted into an apartment complex, we head to a laundromat. This place is filthy, I can’t believe people wash their clothes here! We were just three in here though and our job was to sort the clothes to make sure there were no stains of any kind. Load them in the washing machines, dry them and fold them to be taken back to the owners of the clothes. I was the only one in the laundry room at the moment as the other girls had gone to eat. There are 6 massive commercial washers with 6 commercial gas driers. Cupboards and counters all the way around, with ironing boards against a wall, and tables in the center of the room. Ash gently grabs my hand and pulls me to the door. “Nickle for your thoughts?” “Nickle?”

I went out of the room and knocked on Stephen’s door and it immediately opened. “Stephen, do you have soap?” “Just check Manang Daley’s room, she puts the soaps and whatnot in her room. Oh, where do you plan to use the soap, anyway?” “I would like to do my laundry...” I answered, scratching my nape. “Do the laundry? The washing machine is in the fourth bathroom—“ “I want to do it manually.” I don’t know how to use a washing machine and I’m more used to using only my hands.

Once she made it to my car, she shyly waved. “Hi, which laundromat are we going to? Pure Wash Laundry is the only place around here that I know of.” She suggested. Oh she is still thinking about my shirt. “No need, I am taking you out to get some ice cream.” I closed her door for her, leaving her with more questions than answers. Once I made it to the driver's seat , I felt her jumping nerves. “What is wrong?” I asked as my head turned to her. Her eyes looked around the car.
