It wasn’t Xander but the other one, Archer. She had guessed right about the arrow. Archer had a silver bow in his hand. It was magnificent. There was a carving on it and at both tips a jewel. She saw his muscles flex as he raised the bow, leading her to believe it was heavy. Her eyes were stuck on the muscles between his shoulder blades as his arm pulled back and released, sending a white arrow into a ball that had been catapulted into the air. ***

Darren said, his voice filled with pride, "archery is not just about hitting the target. It's about precision, patience, and understanding the power within you." Ethan nodded, his little face determined. He carefully positioned himself, imitating his father's movements. Darren encouraged him, praising his efforts as he aimed at a target set up a few feet away. With a small release, the arrow flew through the air, landing not far from the target.

Derrick said handing the Arrows and Bow over to me "Thank you" I said Smiling while hanging the arrow which was in a plastic bag and opened at the up part, around my back from my neck "Give us a shoot" Gerrard said to me I drew out one arrow from my back, placed it on the bow, I brought my hands forward up to my face, I closed one of my eyes to enable the target, and I shot. The arrow passed in between Evan and Aiden who were fighting and hit the tree beside them.

"Go to hell, Darryl!" Lord Kenny roared and immediately drew a longbow. He pinched the feathered arrow and aimed it at the back of Darryl's heart. The arrow screeched as it sliced the air when it whizzed past. The feathered arrow traveled as fast as lightning, and it was too late when Darryl finally realized the danger. "Careful!" Yvette's pretty face looked terrified as she let off a concerned shriek. Her feet carried her quickly toward Darryl. Then, she threw herself at Darryl's back, taking the arrow for him!

This call is too important to get distracted. The phone crackles, and I hear the familiar voice of my older brother, Nero, come through. “Orion, Arkyn, you there?” “Yeah, we’re here,” I say, my voice a little rougher than I’d like. Arkyn nods silently next to me, his sharp gaze flicking between the phone and the door, always alert, always ready. “Good. Aeron’s with me,” Nero continues, and I can hear a faint rustle as Aeron presumably shifts closer to the phone on their end. “Let’s get started.”

Katya bows her head and Theo does the same, except he mutters ‘Alpha’ under his breath. She acknowledges them with a nod and turn to Azraiel. His face reveals nothing of the turmoil inside his head. He asks her to sit and then picks up the bag in front of him and hands it over to her. Along with a brown bag there is an envelope too. “Arthur dropped these outside the woods.” Charlotte’s mouth drops open. “Wh-when?” She stutters. “About an hour ago.” He says without any indication as to why. “It not just that.” He stands up and comes around the desk to sit beside her. “After Arthur dropped them, Austin Jones came in looking after the same things in the exact same spot.”

Alpha Darren did not consider his marriage to be a business marriage. Alpha Darren finally sat down again, he also wanted to clarify something that was still lingering in his mind. “You used me to cover up your shame?” He gave Annabelle a sharp look. “I am Alpha Pack Kyne! Do you know who you're messing with?” Annabelle looked down deeply, she knew and understood she was wrong. But she was also very pressured at that moment. She might be asked to abort her fetus and her boyfriend might be killed by her father if he knew all that. That's why she asked for help from the strongest person in the Pack, Alpha Darren.
