"No…" I said, slowly watching Dante, and when the corner of his lips curled upwards… I knew I was right. I looked into the bright blue eyes of the woman I had come to love without realising. I tell her, remembering I am now her new tutor. "Okay," she sighs. "What would you like to read?" I ask, and as if I made her day again, she smiles brilliantly and answers: "Ovid's Metamorphosis!" I can't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. "Why that book?" I am intrigued a little girl would be so excited to read a book meant for college students. I should know. I had to read the book as part of my mythology elective. "Because of the gods and goddesses!" She simply answers.

I was fascinated as golden flames formed a glowing barrier. “A Fireheart can create shields no weapon can break.” I didn’t know about that, “Healing. You can mend flesh, calm poison, and soothe cursed souls.” “The third one is Truth,” The fire turned almost white. “Lies have a temperature.” I frowned in disbelief. “What?” “When people lie, their bodies react. They can tense or sweat and so on. The Fireheart can learn to feel those changes through heat.” My eyes widened. “So, I’ll know when someone lies?”
