Omega Bound
The voice startles me , i turn, and a girl with bright pink hair leans against the locker beside mine arms folded casually across her chest.
Her name tag reads, Mina
“You look like you're waiting for a firing squad,” she chimes in.
I let out a small breath, half laughing and half afraid. “ I'm just new to this district.”
She studies me for a second, then nods. “Don't worry, Ezra. The pay is worth the risk.” Her expression softens slightly.
“Just stay away from the Penthouse suites.” Her voice drops.
“The high Alphas there can smell an Omega from a mile away.” Silence lingers, then she shrugs. “I'm only here because my brother’s medical bills are drowning us.” The pain in her voice hurts me.
