He ran towards the smaller part of the town, where shops were small and dark, where lanes were narrow and dirty, and houses were only four walls and a roof.
"Good morning Mr. Ben," he said as he entered inside one of the doors on the lane. It opened up into a dark room, with no windows and lighted by only a small yellow bulb. He was greeted by the musty smell of old unused books. It took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the darkness.
