Dahlia Carrington ~•~ My second semester was going a lot smoother than my first. All rumors about me had died down and people would rather talk about what they did on their holiday than some random girl in psychology. I had seen Roman only once since I came back and it seemed like he had finally given up. He did tell me he had something to tell me about the rumors last year but I didn’t give him a listening ear. I wasn’t interested in anything he had to say when our last encounter ended up with him choking me right before my exams.

" As she said that, she looked me up and down with her sharp eyes, a teasing smile on her face. Edmund quickly stepped away, as if he was afraid my bad luck would rub off on him. The room was warm with the heat on, but I felt a chill deep in my chest. "Frank, are your clothes damp?" Aunt Carol, who had come up without me noticing, sniffed my clothes and scrunched up her face. "Why does it smell like dirt and mildew? And there's a bit of a weird stink." The other relatives sniffed the air and covered their noses.

I realized, belatedly, that I fuc8ked up the epilogue of book two. Brand and Honey were first, not Daniel and Natalia. So I might have to fix it later, but for now, I have an alternate ending for Brandt and Honey's scene. It's super hot. Enjoy. Brandt

Arianne throw glares at the secretary's retreating back. "Okay Mr. Austin, what did you find out?" Mr. Austin sit straight. "Lauren Stolk did have a dating history with then Robert Solinap, an only son of a very wealthy politician in the Philippines. Nobody know how or when, but the two has tried almost all kinds of drugs before. Robert is the one who supply drugs most of the time to Lauren." Arianne felt her ears grew red as she heard this meeting was something to do with her mom and maybe her.

She moved between the tables, learning the geography of the room, the way the third floorboard from the door creaked and the way the table nearest the fireplace wobbled on its near leg. She was refilling a coffee for a man named Denny, who was one of the Iron Vow brothers and who had the extremely specific quality of someone who had decided within the first ten minutes that she was acceptable, when she heard boots on the stairs and looked up. Colt stopped at the bottom of the stairs when he saw her with an apron on and a coffee pot in her hand. His expression did the subtle version of surprise, which on him looked like the almost imperceptible lift of one eyebrow.

Colt was walking over, talking to Darin along the way. Colt yelled, "Evelynn," as soon as he saw Felicia. Felicia moved forward, her smile pleasant and kind. "Colt, Mr. Foxhall. Darin acknowledged her welcome with a little nod. Colt appeared truly taken aback. "You know Mr. Foxhall, right?" He was about to present them. Felicia's demeanor remained inscrutable, and her eyes remained serene. She said simply, "We've met before." "Oh, I see." Darin gave her a quick look. "Evelynn, I didn't anticipate seeing you here. Would you mind speaking for a moment? Felicia answered his stare, her eyes remaining chilly but her lips curling into a soft grin. She didn't refuse. "Yes."
