Then the lights flooded. I could almost feel my heart over my throat. My eyes widen and my mouth fell at the sight of an enormous animal who stepped inside my room. I shudder. Indeed, it was gnarling with its large, pointed teeth. It has long legs with black claws and its body so slender that I could see the visible ribs and its skin are black. A black wild dog. My trembling muscles, my chattering lips, I tensed up. Kurai was standing over me. He fixed his eyes on the large animal, its red eyes stared to us.

I had an eerie sense of calm. Kira arrived next, dressed in her usual shade of black, a deep black velvet that fit seamlessly to her trim frame. I hadn’t noticed until now how many pounds she had lost since she stopped drinking; and she wasn’t a large she-wolf to begin with. But her cheeks glowed a healthy pink, as if intent to outshine the dull lenses that hid her golden eyes.

The Black Beast was between my spread thighs. He was enormous. Even crouched low, his massive shoulders rose higher than my waist. Glossy black fur covered a body corded with muscle that rippled with every slow movement of his head. His head alone was huge—easily the size of a barrel—muzzle long and powerful, ears pinned forward in concentration.

A towering pure black wolf materialized out of thin air, its four paws planting firmly on the ice directly in front of Eira. Twice the size of an ordinary werewolf. It was Kaelen. He could not even maintain his human form, charging into the explosion’s core in full wolf state. The frost bear’s gash on his abdomen split completely open, blood pouring down like a waterfall. He paid it no mind. Berserk earth battle aura blazed across his skin, forming a thick dark golden armor. The giant wolf turned its head, cold golden eyes locking onto the incoming black energy. He did not raise any defensive shield.

Out crashed Giant Boar. It was huge bigger than cow, thick and heavy. Skin dark grey‑black, hard like leather. Long stiff hair stood up sharp along spine. Two curved tusks shone yellow and strong, thick as arm. Legs short but very strong. Small eyes burned red‑wild and angry. Dust flew thick behind it. It ran fast toward where Selena and Lea gathered extra dry leaves. “STAY BACK!” Kael shouted loud. “Do not run zig‑zag stand close!”

Overly happy. I smile and tug him into a quick bro hug. "That's awesome little brother. Well, spill where is she, who is she, what does she look like," I ask as I pull back. His hands run through his hair, and his eyes look wild but joyful. "Her name is Kera. She is a teacher. She teaches young pups. Oh my heavens, Crow, she is beautiful. Palest blonde hair I have ever seen. She stands at about six feet. She is a little on the willowy side with small breasts. I will find out more tonight. I plan to sit with her during dinner. I have to go inform Hilda," Gage excitedly answers before giving me a grin and leaving.
