Clara leaned her head against Dominic’s massive shoulder, her white silk gown billowing gently in the ocean breeze. Her fresh mating mark pulsed with a sweet, comforting warmth, completely rewriting the dark memories of her past in the slums of the city. “An empire of ash we built, Dominic,” she said, her eyes shining like glittering stars. "And we will rule it with fire, my queen," Dominic growled softly, his arms coming around her waist from behind, pulling her closer into his scorching heat.

I remembered the walk in smeared edits—mist, adrenaline, a voice folding around me like a crown. Your Majesty. Had I dreamed that part? If it was real, a king had carried me. If it wasn’t, great. My brain had decided my trauma needed fanfic. I pushed upright. Sixteen formal complaints were filed by my body. The room steadied after a wobble. I shifted fully, my form expanding, muscles tensing, fangs bared. I stormed toward the exit, knocking over pillars and shattering armor stands in my path. Natalie and the other warriors tried to intercept me, but I was faster, stronger, unstoppable.

I never wished to come out of this room and threatened the happy ending of the people of my Kingdom. I just got the news that the Fated Kingdom is no longer mine as some Dark Spades have conquered it. I don't know if it's a bad thing or it will bring peace to my people after my Father's death but I can't do anything. The best thing I am doing is to keep myself in the room.

Crown or not, they had always ruled with their hearts. “Do you think our adventure is over now?” Darina asked later, when the two of them finally found a quiet moment. “That we’ll just rule peacefully and watch our kingdom flourish?” He smirked, closing the space between them. “No, my queen. I think our adventure has only just begun. But tonight, I just want to worship my mate.” He pulled her close by the waist and kissed her deeply. The world outside faded—music, cheers, lights—all melting away until only the warmth of his lips and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat remained

I said with a smile before walking over to a spot nearby to poke the rabbit that had just hopped out of the bushes. His face instantly turned red. Baring his teeth, he tried to bite me and puffed up in anger. "You audacious human! How dare you poke my face!" My heart melted. "So cute! I pick him to be my conquest target, System." "Target confirmed. Once a beastfolk is bound as the conquest target, it cannot be changed. Please complete your mission within the allotted time." With that, the system disappeared.

The deal is that this time HE is asking for the offspring of the shard heart and souls of the prominent two into the world and book of Scarlet Blood. “A game.” Haru faintly whispers as he doesn’t have any choice left right now, nor a path to take out of desperation to change the world and lives of the ones that he loves. “I’ll gladly take everything.” HE then snaps His finger as the pentagram of HIS world and void draws in front of Haru. Appearing his gate that slowly opens to welcome Haru inside. With the ticking clock along with Haru’s footsteps, HE giggles, and whispers. “Now, now, now. Just what fate will you stir in the 2nd world, Haru.”

“I know you’ll be hearing this a lot. Alpha King, the rogue kingdom stands by you and we will follow you into battle. ” His eyes sought out Mack and he watched as Raina’s brother bow to him without hesitation. Tomorrow would bring them that much closer to war, death, and bloodshed. The World Council lurked in the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to attack. There would be no more waiting. It was an illusion that everyone believed that they had full control of him, his life, and the lives of others. Illusions were nothing more than twisted reality — a reality he hated. They were meant to be shattered and he was done waiting. Hell, the world of werewolves was done waiting.
