Sisters: A Tale of Good & Evil

Sisters: A Tale of Good & Evil

Valkyr mulled her words over in his mind and then said, “Alright. We won’t feed on her blood or get sex from her until she heals. After which, I will impregnate her. But, I will continue to milk her until she can be milked no more or until you send me a replacement. Is that understood?” Sybil shuddered back her revulsion while she fought the need to take Jeremiah down with an energy blast as he removed the filled jars from the breast pumps and replace them with empty ones. After which, he jokingly mooed like a cow. This type of degradation was beyond the boundaries of what allies should be doing. Even evil allies. She vowed to find a way to put Jeremiah in his place. Not only did he op

Second Chances

Second Chances

Chapter 9 The holidays have come and gone. I hired someone to refurbish my floors and they came out amazing. My condo felt like home now that I had put my finishing touches on it. I continued to be busy at work and preoccupied with the Bateman case. We would be going in front of the judge soon. Jason explained the worst case scenario to the Batemans. I couldn’t do it. I could not imagine any sane person giving this child back to the mother who neglected her, left her to fend for herself emotionally, physically, and socially at less than two years old. The photos in her file showed her being kept in absolute filth. She was malnourished and had a sadness in her eyes. It broke my heart.

SECOND SIN

SECOND SIN

"Why are you so bent on making my life miserable and draining… what…" "Existing," Noah cut in quietly, rising to his full height now. "I despise your existence. Maybe when you suddenly vanish, I’ll be fine." The words came out flat, without remorse, like he was stating a simple fact. Nathan could only watch him in helpless distress. "You’re evil," he growled under his breath, the words barely audible but sharp enough to hit Noah like a slap. For a moment Noah’s hand twitched, fingers curling like he wanted to yank Nathan’s hair and drag him up, but he forced himself to pull back, clenching his fist at his side instead.

The Evil Alpha next door

The Evil Alpha next door

I dodged his clumsy attack and grabbed his head with both hands. Then I twisted. His neck snapped with a sickening crack, and he crumpled to the floor. The last one—the ringleader—was backed into a corner, shaking. “Please,” he whispered. “Please, I didn’t mean—” “You disrespected the Elders,” I said, my voice cold. “You disrespected me. That makes you a liability.” “I’m sorry—” I grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. His eyes bulged. His hands clawed at my wrist.

Second Turning

Second Turning

Iris's face twisted in fury, and he lunged for me. "Sophie, you're meant to be mine!" He reached out to snatch me, but Damon stepped in, blocking him. "Alpha Iris, it's Thanksgiving, remember? Time and place, man. "You've been turned down. Sophie's with me." Damon's voice was a deep, unwavering growl. Iris, seething, shoved Damon aside. "You're nothing but a low-born werewolf from the sticks, and you dare talk back to me?" "And what if I do?"

Only the Second Best

Only the Second Best

“Do you hear yourself? You want me to take my twin sister’s place at the altar—after she ran away? You think this is some kind of game?” Reagan didn’t flinch. No anger. No begging. Just a sharp, unshakable resolve. “I know you’re not ready, Tara. But we both know this was never about love,” he said. “This girl… she’s better than the other one,” his grandfather cut in. “More poised. Better educated. If she agrees, we move forward. Not a single reporter will notice the difference between the two of them.” I almost gagged. “The two of them?”

Second Chances

Second Chances

He’s my pup to protect, at least for now. When Zev attacks Alrik, I push Cathal back. I’m so busy focusing on the battle, watching what an incredible fighter Zev is, that I miss the three other wolves sneaking up on us. Except, only two actually attack me. The third wolf looks to be in shock for a moment and when the other two attack, he takes one of them out. Cathal helped, finding a rock and slamming it on the wolf’s head, but the third wolf ripped his throat out, ending his life. I took another bite on my leg, reinjuring my bad leg. However, the wolf went for Cathal and Asena sank her teeth into the wolf’s soft underbelly, ripping out his innards and killing him.

What an ending. Really loved the story. Love between Dimitri and Ayda is soo special as he never compare her to his previous mate. The special bond between Cathal and Ayda is so precious. This story is truly amazing and have a great ending. Sad it is finished but happy with the story line ending.

I VERY, VERY highly recommend this book. It's short, sweet, and doesn't leave any emotional feeling untold. The feelings are raw, heartbreaking, and very heartwarming. You live it. It's rare you get a book that doesn't go in circles or drag on. The author definitely doesn't disappoint. Well done.

Two Souls

Two Souls

She lay her Levi’s over her desk chair and walked to her ensuite bathroom in her t-shirt and undies, where she further undressed before getting into the shower. Leah let the hot water run over her, as she went through the events of the day. She still couldn’t get her head around Silden’s visit. It had been such a strange event. One she still didn’t completely understand. Silden’s warning came as a shock. How had she known about the Raven? Had she been following her too? That was the only way that she could have known. Leah then thought about her eyes and how her mother had said that it was a good omen, but Leah wasn’t so sure. Leah had never seen someone with two different color eyes, so for
