The room held its breath.
Sarah stood slowly, shaking, tears spilling freely.
“Yes,” she said.
Cheers erupted—but she wasn’t done.
“Yes,” she repeated, stepping closer. “I will marry you, my dear. For the second time. I will marry you every day.”
James’ eyes filled with tears.
“I will marry you in my next life,” Sarah continued. “I will love you beyond time. And this time—there’s no turning back.”
The musicians played louder. Clara screamed and clapped excitedly.
