Oh For Mates Sake By Jm Snap Novels & Stories

He notices the band and pants, “No, Soren–Fuck! What–” “She’s my mate,” I shout, then slump to the ground, dragging him with me by his shirt. “She’s my fucking mate–” “Soren–” “Maeve is my mate!”

There was no way he would trick me into believing such lies. “Yes, she is my mate,” Matthew declared, his gaze not wavering from mine. “I knew she was my mate the very first day I saw her, but I couldn’t say it, I couldn’t accept it. How can I tell everyone that my mate is a murderer? How can I look you in the face and tell you that the lady who killed your mate and brought you so much pain was my mate? I was too ashamed and heartbroken to say it to anyone, so I decided to keep it to myself and reject our bond. I even wanted you to kill her, so that was why, at first, I was urging you to kill her. But since you didn’t, I became so drawn to her. I tried my best to ignore our bonds, but no mat

he replies, his voice low and husky with emotion. My breath is caught in my throat, my mind struggling to process his words. Mate? The word echoes in my mind, sending a shiver down my spine. "What?" I blurt out, my voice filled with disbelief. "We're mates?" Hugh nods solemnly, his gaze never leaving me. "Yes, Anastasia. When a werewolf finds their mate, they feel a thrilling sensation through touch, and an even greater kind of sensation through a kiss. It's a bond that goes beyond words, beyond reason. And I've felt it with you since the moment we met."

"But what if I wanted it so? "I have loved you since we were kids, but you found a mate before I could tell you how I feel. "So please allow me to win your heart now. Will you let me be your mate?" His scalding breath rustled against my ear, while the scent of pine wood and a cool spring swirled around his stiff body, completely shrouding me. My wolf, which had been dormant for so long, once again howled in delight. - I did not see Orion again, until the Blood Moon Hunt.

'MATE' If I could cry, this would be that moment. I was right; they were my mates. We were fated, mates. I yelped and jumped on them. Their laughter echoed softly in the quiet night, relief and joy laced in the sound. Their eyes shone with a mixture of pride and affection as they gazed at me, their sandy-coloured, blue-eyed she-wolf.

Although I wasn’t ready to admit that I was going to be Queen, it didn’t give her the right to yell at me over something her mate had done. “I would do anything for my mates, that is true. But my mates weren’t the ones to offer up someone else’s mate as a Vampires Dinner,” I said, my voice laced with anger as I spoke. I could see the tears falling from her cheeks as she kept her head bowed in front of me. “My mates didn’t commit treason.”

Absolutely not. Laughter erupted as soon as we all made it back to the camp. I wiped a few tears from the corners of my eyes from laughing so hard, it was the first time since my exile I was really laughing. Snotty laughter but none of that mattered, just the thrill. The thrill of our victory. The thrill of this triumph. Jabs rang out through the air. “Damn, I didn't know you could run that fast." Micah teased the youngest of us, who wheezed in laughter unable to respond.

“I thought I was gonna lose you and that scared me shitless.” She smiled. "So you cried?" Yeah, story of my life. “When you get well, you're coming home with me,” I said, watching her keenly to see her reaction. I hope it won't be a blatant disapproval. My poor heart won't be able to take it. “Home?” “My Pack. My house…” I paused. “...my mate.” She stared blankly at me and her smile faded. “I don't understand…” “I wanna officially make you my mate…”

"Have you seen your mate?" The fact that it’s not just a mate, but 'mates' still amazes me. Even if I told her I had seen mine, she would pressure me to reveal who he is, but I can't—not now, at least. I have to give it a hard pass. "I... I haven’t, but I’m certain I’ll see my mate very soon." Her lips curved into a smile as she raised her hands, spreading her fingers for a high five, and our hands collided with a satisfying slap.

The comments under the news hit like a punch to the gut. "The Alpha and the Chief Healer? They're perfect together!" "Their pup is adorable! He looks just like the Alpha!" "Their love story is so beautiful. I actually cried!" "Right? Their mate-bonding ceremony is tomorrow. We have to go! I heard it's going to be huge and gorgeous. The Luna is living the dream!" I scrolled through them one by one, each line cutting deeper than the last. Next thing I knew, I was crying. Joe and I were together for ten years. And after all that, he gave the mate-bonding ceremony I'd waited ten years for to Nora, of all people—the one I'd always gotten along with the worst.
