Oliver's POV
I began to look more and more panicked as the guards continued to warn me that the Alpha was moving extremely fast to our destination. My mind was racing with so many unanswered questions.
How did he not know Charlie was right beside his pack the whole time? Or did he, but never acted on it?
What will happen if he sees her out in the open like this?
Could the Alpha Kings mate really be a wolf less woman?
She remained in the same position as when we got here, maybe out of morbid curiosity for her impending doom.
Charlie's POV
I remained still, drowning in both my confusion and my fear. I mean, I met Oliver this morning, and now I am standing in the forest alone with him. He started to pace back and forth and look as if he were about to have a panic attack rubbing the back of his neck aggressively.
I moved slightly, and Oliver stopped pacing. He turned his attention to my injured wrist.
"What is that?" He asked, a panicked tone evident in his voice as he spoke.
I remained silent as I tried to move away from the tree that I was against. I did not want to be alone with someone so erratic.
He grabbed my wrist once more around the already formed bruises, and I winced at his touch.
"Ow, Oliver! That hurts!" I yell, trying to pull my sore wrist away from him, even though it was no use. His strong grip held me tightly, trying to inspect the bruises.
I could sense the shift in the air, and I think Oliver could too. He instantly froze as the sound of rustling nearby echoed through the trees. Oliver released my wrist, and began to back away from me, panic on his face becoming more and more evident. I began to back away slowly, even with this new presence looming over me. The forest had seemed to get darker, but I thought that was just my imagination playing tricks on me.
"NO! Do NOT move!" Oliver shouted at me.
I whimpered a little, moving further backwards.
"No! Look, the Alpha is coming and if he sees your scared, he will get extremely angry and cause a scene, and it won't be good so please just don't move," He said, begging me with his eyes.
"Please?" he continued.
"The... Alpha?" I stuttered, trying to make sense of the situation that I had gotten myself into. Suddenly a loud rustling caught my attention instead.
A gigantic black wolf appeared out of the forest. The eyes looked almost familiar to me, so I decided to take a step towards this huge beast. He began to circle me, as if eyeing his prey, and I felt almost shy underneath his gaze. I have seen these eyes before, but I could not remember where.
His heavy footsteps sounded behind me as he circled me, and I immediately froze, my focus now on Oliver, who was now barring his neck to the gigantic wolf. I heard heavy breathing behind me, and I slowly turned around making sure not to move too much. I let out a small gasp at the sight before me, my words lost in the cold breeze that surrounded this huge wolf.
He was huge. He was taller than me, even on all four of his paws. He was the darkest color of black I had ever seen, but his eyes. Gold eyes. Molten Honey. Power radiated off him, and I could not help but feel drawn to him. I brought my hand up to touch his jet-black fur, but I could tell that his gaze was not on me anymore, as his eyes narrowed on the gold bracelet that adorned my wrist.
"Charlie?" I heard Oliver say beside me.
"Y....Ye.Yes?" I stuttered, trying to say confidently.
"Meet the Alpha King, Leo," Oliver answered.
The large wolf moved closer, connecting my hand to his soft fur. I let out a small gasp as I spread my fingers through the tuft of hair between his ears. It was the softest thing I had ever touched, and I swear I could hear the gigantic wolf purring. He sat down in front of me, as if he wanted me to touch him more so I started roaming my hands all over his soft chest and neck.
Suddenly, the wolf jumped up causing me to stumble backwards on my feet. He moved towards the tree that I was once leaning on and I could hear him shifting. The sound of snapping bones was never pleasant, but you get used to it when you live with wolves who can shift. Once his shift was complete, a familiar figure appeared from the other side of the tree.
The familiar man, perfectly shaped tousled hair with the gold eyes with his tattooed muscular body. What set me off was how familiar his husky voice was even though I had not heard it in years.
"Hello, little dancer," He spoke softly.
Leo.
Brown eyes.
Brown with gold flecks.
I am face to face with brown eyes with gold flecks.
Brown eyes with gold flecks looking down at me.
It is the man that has flashed through my mind a thousand times.
Except, he is better.
Black hair, and brown eyes. Muscular, tattooed and stubble. Everything I saw in my mind playing over and over again.
Except, he’s flawless.
We stood in silence for a moment, staring at each other. It has been years since I had seen her beautiful face. She had grown so much in the years that we were separated. Although I had kept tabs on her safety, I did not ask to know her whereabouts. If I had known how close she was earlier, I wouldn’t have given her up a second time. With my coronation coming up, and Oliver running into her, I knew it was time for her to finally come home.
"Y... you!" she stuttered at me, moving backwards towards Oliver.
"I told you that we would meet again, my little dancer," I said, smiling at how perfect she had become. Her tight toned body looked delectable in her uniform, but what drew me to her was her beautiful brown eyes and long raven hair.
"I... I" she stuttered again, frozen.
"What's wrong, my little princess?" I questioned, moving closer and grabbing her gently. She let out a little whimper, and I immediately looked for the source of her pain.
My eyes focused on the bruises around her wrist and a low growl rumbled in my chest.
"You injured her! You hurt my mate!" I shouted, as I grabbed and pinned Oliver to the nearest tree.
"I didn't... I didn't mean to," He stuttered, trying to fight me off. “I was just trying to bring her to you!”
"I... it was an accident!" Charlie yelled, "I'll heal in an hour anyways!"
I froze and focused my eyes on Charlie. My grip around Oliver’s neck loosened as I saw her face. Tears were falling from her eyes, and I could smell the fear in her scent, which broke my heart. I didn’t want to have a mate that feared me.
"Charlie," I said, letting Oliver drop to the ground as I turned to make my way towards her. She instantly froze as I walked towards her tiny frame. I could hear her heartbeat pounding in her chest and this stirred my wolf. I could not help but nuzzle her neck, breathing in the scent of her hair. Peonies and vanilla, just like I had remembered. Her scent had been seared in my mind since our first meeting, but it was euphoric smelling it again in person.
"You smell so good," I mumbled to myself, holding her closer. I met her dark chocolate eyes, and I could see the fear in them slowly disappear as her gaze softened. She was so beautiful.
"Let's go home, sweetheart."

☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒I slipped out of Leos grasp and the sparks that danced along my skin subsided. My mind was so foggy, that I did not even realize what was happening to me. I could feel something stirring in my mind. Something that I had never felt before."I can't go with you... my mother is expecting me home soon," I said, attempting to turn around and walk home, until I met Oliver’s scared eyes.I froze and sighed, allowing myself to be pulled back into Leos strong grip."You're mine, Nobody else's. MINE," he snarled in my ear, pulling me closer to his body. I could feel something sharp pierce the skin of my neck and I let out a loud scream. I instantly felt my knees go weak from the pain, but I did not fall thanks to Leos strong grip."No one will ever hurt you, angel," he said between placing light kisses against my wrist which made my heartbeat raise and my cheeks blush, "Let's go.""Oliver," I say softly, looking in his direc
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒LeoOur sleep together was peaceful. We were wrapped together, buried beneath the sheets as the sun shone through the window. Charlie groaned softly, snuggling her head deeper into my chest, trying to block the sunlight from her face which made my wolf purr in content.A soft knock woke me up from my sleep, which irritated me. I slowly slipped out of bed, replacing myself with a pillow which my little mate hugged and snuggled with deeply. I stood looking at her for a moment as a warm smile spread across my lips. A second knock came from the door, snapping me out of my daydream once again. I opened the door and stepped outside closing it quietly behind me.I looked up to see an anxious looking Oliver looking back at me."What are you doing here Oliver?!” I shout as quietly as I can. "You don't need to care for her, she's mine. I am her mate, not you!"I could feel my blood pressure begin to rise and
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒I was not exactly sure how long I slept but I woke up with the fire returning to my body. I was so unbelievably hot. I threw the blanket away from me and squirmed trying to get out of the bed. It did absolutely nothing to help, and I could see Leo's body was still tightly wrapped around me, which I knew did nothing to help my situation either. My school uniform was still on my body, and I felt like it was on fire as it touched my skin. The leggings underneath my skirt made it almost unbearable to wear them.Leo began to shuffle behind me, sensing that I was uncomfortable. I felt his hand reach under my skirt and grab the hem of my leggings. I put my hands over his and mumbled incoherent nothings to him."Just take it off baby, you're burning up. I promise I won't do anything; you just have to take it off," he said reassuringly.I was hot, and extremely tired. All I wanted to do was nuzzle back into his chest, so I grabbed the hem of m
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒Although it felt completely strange to have my wolf show up now, she explained it was because I was near my mate. She explained that she was sent by the Moon Goddess herself to me, and that she had special plans for me. I chuckled at that, but Faleece was extremely adamant on saying that I was special. She told me that my mate was not as bad as I was making him out to be, and that I just needed to give him a chance and that he would show me how powerful I could be. Now that was something we could disagree on.I had begun eating the tray of food that was left on my desk, as Faleece and I talked. She was extremely intelligent, and I could tell that she had a good soul which made me happy. The world had finally felt a lot less lonely. When I noticed that the sun had come up, I sensed a strange tingling sensation run through me right to the mark on my neck. I knew it was him before he even stepped into the room. The clicking of the lock a
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒After Griffen had left, I decided that it was time to shower and change my clothes. My closet had been stocked with everything I could imagine. I found a simple underwear set and a loose blouse with leggings. Although I felt like a prisoner, I didn’t have to look like one, at least. He had also stocked it with shelves of makeup, and perfumes. I decided that less was more in this case, and put on some mascara and a pale pink lip gloss. Before throwng on my blouse, I took a long look in the mirror. The scar that sat above my belly button taunted me, as of it was satisfied that it had made itself known to Leo and Griffen. I shook away these thoughts as a knock came at the door, so I threw my blouse on quickly before answering the door.Leo had one of the Omega’s come to my room and escort me down to the dining room for supper. We walked down the long halls taking many turns on the way I paid special attention to her directions when
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒Leo's POVMy eyes shot open, as I could hear Steel growling in my mind.Something felt off, something was not right.Unable to control myself, my body ran to Charlies room, but she was not there. Panic rushed through me as I had realized her scent was faint as well. Steel began pushing for control, feeling uncomfortable that his mate was missing. We had such a pleasant evening last night. Her smile etched itself into my brain, as I fell asleep replaying her laugh over and over again.I flung out of her room without a second thought, still in my boxers. I ran down the hall frantically, searching for my mate. Would she be in pain without me? What would happen if she decided to run away?"Charlie?" I shouted, my voice echoing through the empty hallways."Alpha?" I hear people ask, making my wolf angrier and more tense that none of the voices were Charlie's."NO! Where is Charlie?" I growl, mov
☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒☾⭒ My heart was about to burst out of my chest. The sound of screaming was echoing through the walls of the darkened castle. I had never heard anything like this, and it worried me that no one else seemed to be around to check it out. I crept out of bed and followed the screams, until it led me to the outside of Leo's bedroom door. Leo had decided that locking me in my room was the wrong way to go about keeping me here, so he let me roam freely as long as I promised I wouldn’t run. Plus, I think his mother was serious when she said she would cook his wolf for dinner. I silently opened it, and I let out a small gasp. Although he was asleep in his gigantic king size bed, he was thrashing and there was sweat pooling on his forehead. His screams filled my ears, as I quietly walked towards the bed. A deep frown had formed on his face, and it made my heart ache. I gently pushed the covers back and got in beside him wanting to ease his pain. His screams si

He usually had one hand holding a book, and another gently massaging my toes. I would sneak little glances at him between pages and notice all his faces he would make at his book.Sometimes his brow would furrow, and I could tell he was not exactly happy at what was happening in his book. Sometimes his lips would have a slight curl to them, knowing that whatever was happening, made him even the slightest bit happy. I could see the bags resting underneath his eyes, and that made my heart want to reach out for him.Ever since I had gotten my own room, his nightmares seemed only to get worse, until I would creep into his room and hold him. So far, this was every night occurrence, so I had just decided it was easier for me to stay in his room. I know I should not be so concerned, especially with someone who had ki
