How to Make the Ice Prince Fall

How to Make the Ice Prince Fall

Somehow. Hazel shrugged. "Should I go ask Olivia?" Olivia was the name of her friend, the cook. Out of Hazel's descriptions Katherine concluded that the old woman had to look just like a friendly, wizened olive, so the name matched quite well. "Please do. And while you're at it, can you bring me these items?" The lady asked, handing her the list she'd written. Hazel lifted the paper and stared at it for a while, her brows knitting further and further together, looking troubled.

Puppy Love

Puppy Love

She offered us some, which we declined. An elderly woman walked out of the house. She was very old. I did not need to guess her age. She was over a century, really, from the colour of her hair and the traces of wrinkles on her face, but time had been easy on her if that was the case because she was still agile and pretty. "Alpha, My Lady. My great grandmother, Leah." Choe said, and we greeted the woman. "You should still be in bed, Granny; they are here to see me," Chloe complained, and it was cute seeing the two of them.

This a good read from beginning to end. I feel this book deserves to have a sequel to it. Maybe a bit farther into their lives after the parents step down and hand everything over to the royal heirs now adults. Whether or not it happens PUPPY LOVE and THE DARK SIDE OF FATE deserve all the praise

Continuation from my earlier post, that was cut off. The writing is exceptional, and the characters are so vivid and relatable that they feel like a part of one's own family. I just hope both books are read by someone who believes as I do.

Almost. "She's Mad Janet, Hawk," Olivia said dryly. "Her name is" He broke off abruptly. He mustn't give Olivia any ammunition. He took a careful breath and re-phrased. "Her middle name is Adrienne, 'tis the one she prefers." He added coolly, "You may call her Lady Douglas." Olivia's brow rose derisively. "I shan't call her lady any-thing. The whole country knows she's mad as a rabid hound. I hadn't heard, however, that she was bearable to the eye?"

happiness when they saw me. “She’s come back,” someone breathed. “The daughter of our leader,” another murmured. I stepped back. “What are you talking about?” The old woman finally stood up and her piercing gaze locked with my own. “I am Elder Sadie,” she said in a voice that was coarse, but as smooth as river stones. “And I have waited a long time for this day. And I can tell you have your mothers eyes.” I swallowed several hard times before speaking. “You knew my mother? My real mother…”
